Set in a rural location, a very picturesque valley, this 4 bedroom, 2 lounge, 2 bathroom house surrounded by garden and paddocks to roam, forest and bush to explore, rivers to wade and swim in. Climb the hill, pet the goats and ponies, check out the Alpacas or just stay by the beautifully warm log fire in winter or sit on the deck listening to the birds looking at the beautiful view. Staglands Wildlife Park and the Karapoti Track nearby, Upper Hutt 20 mins and Wellington 50 mins so we have it all! Come and try it! The space Each lounge, one at each end of the house, has a logfire and view out to the garden. TVs are in both lounges with Netflix and a Chromecast. There is also a further TV with Chromecast in one of the double bedrooms.There is a large kitchen plus small kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath and shower. The main bedroom has a king bed looking out to the garden. The second bedroom has bunks plus a king single and a trundler. The third bedroom has a king bed and the fourth bedroom two single beds. Wifi is unlimited. There is no cell phone coverage at the property but if you have wifi-calling you can make and receive cellphone calls and texts over wifi. Guest access The Main entrance is on the left of the house as you come down the drive just past the carport. Parking is right next to your accommodation. Come and go as much as you like.You can let yourself in with the key in the key safe by the door or it will be unlocked for you. If possible we'll make sure you arrive to a warm log fire on those chilly days/nights.
Other things to note We aim to offer a taste of rural New Zealand, a glimpse of nature to be treasured for the next generations. There is truly something very special about the Akatarawa Valley with its history and its beauty. Bring your gum boots, river shoes, swimming gear and come and see for yourself.
