We rented this place for a week over the 4th of July. Place is super clean and in a great location, we even rented a boat from the marina and was able to use the dock. Unfortunately we lost power for our last 2 days due to a storm. We had no power, water and couldn't even flush toilets. Homeowners suggested we go home. We had to throw away so much food and ended up buying another cooler just to try and save some food. We had a boat rented for a week and didn't want to lose out. We couldn't shower or cook for 2 days. Homeowners never offered any compensation or helped us. Its unfortunate that you pay to stay in some else's place and they just leave you to fend for yourself. We had our kids with us, left to brush there teeth with bottled water in the dark using flash lights.

We're glad you enjoyed the home's cleanliness, convenient location, and access to the dock during your stay. We're sorry the severe storm impacted your vacation. Unfortunately, power outages caused by weather are outside of our control, but we did reach out to let you know about the outage and offered to help locate alternative accommodations. We understand it was a difficult situation, and we appreciate your feedback as we continue improving the guest experience and our response to unexpected events.
