This host has a long way to go before this property is anywhere near ready for VRBO. Says A/C - only a/c was two portable window units w/ drain tubes hanging out the back windows. Says quiet but those two windows that had to stay open made sure that we had to hear the live music at the bar approximately 200 yards down the back sidewalk. The front bedroom only had a small fan but we couldn't open the windows because the there were no screens and bugs got in. The front windows were also directly on a main courtyard. Those windows also would not close from the inside. We had to go outside to close them. The screen to the porch in the back was ripped so couldn't use that for cross ventilation. The door to the garage showed red for locked but we saw people walk right in without putting in a code. A couple we met in the garage said their spot had been taken for days with nothing done about it. The code to get into the courtyard to our unit didn't have to be used. We just walked around inside the building and went into the courtyard yet this owner says the space is safe. We only stayed for a couple of hours just so we could find another place to move to. This owner really needs to get work done or have a more accurate review. The location is good but not a good enough excuse to stay for longer than a couple of hours. We did not feel safe and definitely were not satisfied as we left as quickly as we could

We’re very surprised by this review, as we’ve consistently received positive feedback from guests who’ve enjoyed their stay with us. Our team always responds promptly to any issues, and we work hard to maintain a comfortable and accurate experience for every guest.
The building is currently undergoing some exterior construction managed by the property management company, which is outside of our control. That said, we’ve taken steps to ensure guest comfort and safety — including replacing all locks and confirming that access codes function properly.
Canmore is known as one of the safest towns in the area, and there are many full-time residents as well as visitors in the same complex who’ve had no security concerns. We always encourage guests to reach out directly during their stay so we can assist in real time, as we’re committed to resolving any issue as quickly as possible.
