One of the last original sized miners cottage of historic Korumburra. Our private cosy country hideaway sleeps 3 guests. Relax and recharge surrounded by lovingly handpicked antiques & country collectables. Walking distance to Coal Creek, IGA and all the local hot food and coffee spots. The cottage is privately tucked away on its own block surrounded by established native trees. The space Princes Cottage Korumburra is nestled quietly behind big hedges. Take a stroll up the brick path and up the steps to the little deck that sits at the front of the cottage. Once inside you will be greeted by a freshly renovated 100 year old miner's cottage. To right sits a bright and light filled bedroom with a double bed. There are also two beautiful roomy cane armchairs to sit, relax and read. The room has an antique tall boy to unpack before you kick back and relax. To your left is the second bedroom/lounge room. With two cosy wingback armchairs and a single daybed. There is a TV in this room if you want to watch something and unwind. Continuing through to the country kitchen you will find a shabby chic four seat kitchen table with Brentwood chairs, antique benches and a small study desk. We have cups, bowls, glasses, wine and champagne glasses, baking trays and cultery. Store any cool items in our gorgeous mint green retro fridge and enjoy toast and tea courtesy of the vintage inspired appliances! The reverse cycle air conditioner in the kitchen keeps the cottage cool in summer and warm in the colder days. We recommend keeping the bathroom window slightly open for ventilation. In the modern bathroom you will find a clean and spacious space with a glass shower recess and custom wood shelf. Head out through the french door from the kitchen out to the back seating area and lounge in the two seater cane armchair. Flick on the festoon lights for a romantic ambience! The switch is outdoors on the far right. The yard is large and private with baby olive trees and a multitude of succulents and flowers growing in pots and alongside the house. Our stunning entryway iceberg roses put on their best show into summer! Don't miss the hydrangea when they flower, they are stunning! If you want a quite space for a sip of tea, there is a cute little wrought iron garden chairs and table setting in the garden. On street parking is fine but if you prefer private parking, please enter at the rear of the property. Guest access You are welcome to spend time anywhere on the property. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the view of the hills, sip a tea in the lounge or eat some toast in the kitchen. The back area is perfect for lounging around and enjoying the quiet and private backyard. The kitchen area contains a small desk incase you need to do any last minute work or update socials. The only place we ask that you steer clear of is the back of the garden shed. There isn't anything interesting there, just our garden utensils/paint etc. There maybe sharp objects and we would not want to see anyone hurt.

I had a lovely weekend stay at this cute and cozy cottage! The location is perfect, walking distance to the main street and also the Great Southern Rail Trail. Great communication with Mary and she added some thoughtful touches and treats, making it even more special. Definitely recommend staying here!
