The Space:

At the heart of the property is an exceptional outdoor entertaining area. Cool off in the private swimming pool, prepare meals in the fully equipped outdoor kitchen, or enjoy long lunches around the alfresco dining table. The remote-controlled louvre roof provides shade and shelter, making this an inviting space throughout the year.



Inside, the bright open-plan living and dining area features comfortable furnishings, quality finishes and locally commissioned artwork by Indigenous artist Munganbana. The fully equipped indoor kitchen, air-conditioning and ceiling fans provide everything needed for an easy, comfortable stay.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire home, including the private swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, alfresco entertaining area, fully fenced garden and secure garage.

Smart-lock self-check-in allows for a simple and flexible arrival. Complimentary on-site parking is available in the garage and driveway.

Getting Around:

Getting around from Curlews Nest is easy and convenient. You’re just a short drive to local shops, cafes, and beautiful Northern Beaches like Trinity and Palm Cove.

A car is the best way to explore the area at your own pace — free parking is available at the property. If you're not driving, local taxis and rideshare services like Uber operate throughout the area, and there’s also a nearby bus stop with routes to Cairns CBD and surrounding suburbs.

Whether heading to the beach, the reef, or the rainforest, you’ll be well connected during your stay.



Other Things to Note:

Curlews Nest is in a quiet residential neighbourhood for relaxing family stays. Parties, events and unapproved visitors are not permitted.

Children must be supervised around the non-heated pool and outdoors. A highchair and travel cot (firm base) are available for $25.



Housekeeping is not included. Mid-stay cleaning, linen changes and extra towels are available for a fee. Stays of 14 nights or more require a $250 mid-stay clean and linen change.



A starter supply of essentials is provided; longer stays may require additional supplies.



Luggage storage is unavailable before check-in or after check-out.



As a tropical property, insects and local wildlife may occasionally be present.
