About this property
Nambucca Valley Train Carriages Enjoy the serenity of the bush setting
The Nambucca Valley Train carriages have been built new, from the ground up in 2019.
We have replicated the carriage used on the Wisebech and Upwell Tram way, which was built by GER (Great Eastern Railways), Stratford England in 1888.
The carriage sleeps two people in a Queen Bed, with an ensuite bathroom, kitchen and balcony.
Your included continental breakfast of cereal, toast, jam, honey, tea and coffee is ready for you to enjoy at the dining table or on the balcony
The carriage has an electric cooktop & microwave inside & an electric BBQ on the balcony if you wish to stay in and cook something for yourself for dinner or breakfast.
Includes Air conditioning
Wifi,
Free to air TV
USB and HDMI outlets for your devices to watch on TV
USB charging points next to the bed
Electric hotplate
Microwave oven
Mini fridge
Gas hot water
All linen and towels
Fully insulated
Electric BBQ on the balcony
Balcony table and chairs
Washer / Dryer combo in a red telephone box
The carriage is located 200 metres from the North Coast Railway line which can be seen from the balcony and windows.
Diane & Dave live on the 9 acre property at Wirrimbi, which is located 5 km from Macksville, 7 km from Nambucca and 7 km from Bowraville. Other than passing trains, the property is private and peacefull, you can see the wallabies grazing near the carriage most mornings
We have bitumen road access to our 300 metre maintained gravel driveway.
There is plenty of room to park a trailer or boat.
Dave is a member of Nambucca Valley Rotary and enjoys riding Jacks Ridge MTB track, motor bike riding, kayaking and golf.
