Walking distance to the Oakbank Hotel, the famous Oakbank race-track, golf course and the beautiful Karkoo Nursey Cafe, it is the perfect place to base yourselves while you visit the beautiful wineries of the Adelaide Hills.

Dorset Cottage dream

Wonderful stay in such a beautifully renovated and decorated cottage. Pot belly fire was so cosy at night and so many great restaurants, pubs and wineries at our door.

A rare gem

A lovely cottage with so much style and history. Looks great in photos but even better in real life. It was so nice to stay in a freshly restored cottage but definitely not a cookie cutter decor. I also loved the town. I enjoyed a hot chocolate at Karkoo and great meal at the Oakbank hotel all within walking distance. Definitely recommend

A true retreat

What an incredible stay. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but we’d love to come back. A cosy autumn retreat. We lit the fire, had a bath (the heated floors by the way, divine!) and enjoyed the lovely complimentary bottle of wine! We could have just stayed in the cottage and relaxed but it’s worth noting that the pub is a very short stroll away for dinner and that the Karkoo nursery down the road also has a great cafe. And there are SO MANY wineries near by. Thanks so much for having us.

Cynthia and Greg have lived in the Adeliade Hills for nearly 30 years and recently purchased the heritage listed Pike's Historic Brewery site to renovate and restore. Their first project was to restore the original Pike's family cottage and convert the attached shop and former post office into two separate BnB accommodation cottages.

The heritage listed cottages, in the heart of the Adeliade Hills Wine Region have been lovingly restored to a high standard and recently opened online for bookings.

The Adelaide Hills are a beautiful scenic area only 30 mins from the Adelaide CBD, as well as being beautiful and relaxing they provide close access to renowned wineries, as well as being walking distance the local pub, golf course, Oakbank Racecourse and Karkoo Nursery Cafe.
