My damily and i had great time especially being off the river. We seen a couple of bald eagles. The only downside was the weather on which host had no control over. The cabin was cleaned and well stock may comeback in the future.
Janae is a great host! We had a great time watching football, relaxing, and enjoyed bringing in another new year with our family. We saw lots of deer and cranes in the fields this time.
Beautiful location - great back porch to sip coffee on in the morning. We saw a bald eagle flying over the river each on each day of our stay. The cabin was comfortable and had all the stuff you need to feel at home on a short getaway. The owner was also very responsive to my questions. We would definitely stay here again.
This place is perfect! If you want to get away and enjoy spending time with the Lord in His beautiful creation this is the place! It has it all and is conveniently located close to town! Can’t say enough about this place!!’
This was our 3rd or 4th stay at the cabin, and my family really likes it. It's always clean and stocked with the necessities for the weekend. The beds are all comfy. We enjoyed fishing and the campfires at night. We even saw a family of river otters swim by. It's the perfect place to unwind and not too far from the city.
There is something nostalgic about a cabin on a lazy river behind a cornfield, like days gone by or something out of a Wendell Berry story.Fishing, floating, swimming.Fire, football, feasting. What a great way to spend a bachelor weekend with my son and his friends. Not flashy just perfect. Thanks for a great weekend!
We had a wonderful time at the cabin on the river. It was quiet and secluded. Cooked dinner there bith nights. Made smores after dark. Cabin had what we needed for a great getaway.
Every year the 6 sisters get together for a Sister Weekend! No spouses, no children, no grandchildren...just the 6 of us. We had a wonderful time at the cabin.
Great, secluded property. Very clean and beautiful view
