Only 1.5 hours from Melbourne, The Sundowner is the perfect spot to relax, unwind and enjoy the quintessentially Australian way of living or holidaying, surrounded by bush and set against a stunning coastline of cliffs and pristine beaches.The 4-bedroom house is set amongst the gum trees in a quiet avenue in Anglesea, tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still within minutes of the action. Inspired by the era of the home the interiors are casual, colourful, and cosy.Downstairs are the kitchen, dining area and two separate living areas. The main living area has comfy sofas and a slow-combustion wood heater, perfect for the cooler months, with cushioned window bays providing additional space in which to lounge against a backdrop of birds and trees. This area has a high-pitched ceiling, creating a real sense of space and helping it to stay lovely and cool in summer. It also has an air conditioner and a ceiling fan if you need.The second living area is spacious, with a separate kitchenette/bar, a second fridge and an additional dining table and chairs providing ample options for places to hang out, play board games & entertain. The back living area opens onto a large deck nestled in the trees with a BBQ, outdoor table and chairs and a chiminea. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off the salt and sand after a swim at the beach. All the bedrooms are upstairs with very comfy beds - including a king bedroom, two queen bedrooms and a bunk room with 4 single beds, including a trundle and loft bunk that kids love. The house is suitable to 6 adults and 4 kids max.There is also a bathroom with a small bath and separate toilet upstairs. The house has a warm and relaxed retro vibe, but all the appliances are new and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to have the perfect weekend away.
