Great location, close to the lake and town shops. Not far from Victoria either. Very quiet and relaxing, cozy spaces, heat control in every room plus electric fireplace. Big TV, fast wifi. Outside sitting space as well. Perfect for couples or small families. Would definitely stay again, thanks!
It was a nice property. An actual stove would have been nice rather than a hot plate. The photos appear as though there's two daybeds in the second room but there was only one and a mattress and box spring. The photos also show the lake but you cannot see it from the property. Other than those few things, it was a lovely week.
The house fit our needs perfectly. We brought our kayaks for both the lake, and the coastal waters. Teresa was a great host and made sure we were well taken care of. We went to the Shawnagan Lake Museum and many of the local stores nearby as well. Thanks for a terrific stay.
Walking into this house was so nice after the other place we had stayed. Walking in the door was like walking into my own home, instant comfort, it was quiet and relaxing to sit outside. My sister was so excited to see a deer last night. We have no complaints and I would highly recommend to anyone that this would be the best place to stay. We would definitely stay again on our next visit.
The home was very clean. Comfortable. Area was beautiful, quiet and very well kept. Easy 5 minutes to fuel, food etc. Only 40 minutes to downtown Victoria. Food provided at house as well.
We were very happy with our stay and would recommend to everyone. We plan to return to the area and stay again
Teresa went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. She answered my texts promptly if I had a question. The unit is well supplied with big and small appliances (except an oven/stove, but there is a hot plate, a microwave and a toaster oven). Lots of coffee & tea provided as well as kitchen supplies (dishes, cutlery, glasses, plates, trays, pots and pans, etc.). Clean beds. Very quiet area and short walk to a nice little beach. It was a nice place to relax. Close to restaurants.
