In the latest update, the Maine Department of Environmental Protection confirmed that scums on the pond do not contain toxins potentially harmful to people, pets, and wildlife, such as those produced by cyanobacteria. Like many lakes in Maine, some algae growth is natural and can vary with weather and season, but it's not always harmful. For peace of mind when planning future trips, you can check resources like ewg.org or your local environmental agency for up-to-date water quality reports. Awesome house right in the water in peaceful cove

Went with a few friends and had an amazing time. The house sits in a cove on a little point with the sunrise coming up over the house and setting in the opposite side of the lake. House is extremely peaceful and has the best lake house vibes. Would definitely come back.
