We had such a fabulous stay! The house was so clean and everything we could have wanted! The house had a fresh baked cookies, waiting for us, which were amazing. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy Asheville and her surrounding beauty.
Spent a weekend here and enjoyed everything about the property. Very clean and cozy. Beds were quite comfortable. Property gave us everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
Beautiful property with everything you need close to downtown! Loved everything about this property and we will come back! Prayers this wonderful little community will recover rapidly from Helene...
Great location, host very friendly and knowledgeable. The cookies she left out were great! House was comfy, dogs loved the area and yard.
Would return!
I stayed 10 days in this cottage while I toured and became familiar with Asheville. The property was very handy to all the places I visited. It was clean and very well appointed. The cookies waiting for me upon check-in were a nice touch! The host was responsive and very accommodating. Thank you for a nice place to stay!
Would recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Asheville and the surrounding area. The house is very nice and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. While property is not quite walking distance to downtown, unless you’re looking for a good workout, it was easy to get an Uber/Lyft.Georgia was an incredible host. She was fast to respond to messages, gave clear check in/out instructions, even left out dog blankets so our golden retriever was comfortable too.I would highly recommend this property.
Our stay was very nice and relaxing. The property is walking distance to a lot of activities and very central to the Arts District. Georgina was fantastic providing reading about the area before the trip as well as sending emails when it was rainy with other activities. I loved the fenced in porch to sit in the back yard. The dogs loved staying there as well as there are a lot of walking paths close by.
This property is SO good! Has everything you need inside and out. Interior decorated in true RAD styling, great outdoor deck space, close to everything. Very clean! Host is 10/10. Great space for a small family, or 2 couples. We will definitely rent again!
The house was very clean and stocked with all the necessaries needed. Beds very comfortable with high quality linens, everything was top of the line. Everything we did was within 3 miles of house, very lovely area. The host was exceptional to work with.
We really enjoyed staying at this home. It is well-stocked with supplies and housewares, and has newer appliances. The location is very convenient to downtown! The owner lives in a home just behind this property. The house has been updated and everything felt fresh and clean. We were very happy to find such a nice place that allowed us to bring our dogs.
Darling cottage very close to everything in Asheville
Home was cottage style and very attractive. Georgia, was extremely helpful in every way. Could not beat location. Delicious cookies were on the kitchen island awaiting us.
Would absolutely book next visit. Thank you, Georgia!
We enjoyed our stay. The house was tastefully remodeled and nicely laid out. The house was stocked with all needed supplies. The large elevated backyard deck was pleasant with sufficient furniture and tables, a gas grill and a view of the tree shaded yard. Off street parking was available. We would stay here again on our next Asheville trip.
Due to the horrible devastation in Asheville we considered canceling our trip. I’m so glad we didn’t. The host was very helpful and the house was so cute and had everything we needed. It was so clean , comfortable and on a quiet street. It is convenient to downtown and the Biltmore. The River arts district needs the support of visitors. Thanks Georgia for a lovely getaway.
Georgia was very welcoming the whole process. When we arrived, the property was easy to access, clean, and again, welcoming! She even left a note with homemade cookies on the counter, which was VERY sweet of her to do! She was readily available if we had any questions. The kitchen was stocked with essentials (coffee, tea, pots, pans, etc.) and the bedrooms were very nice and the beds comfortable. It's extremely close to downtown and other places within Asheville. I highly recommend staying here if you plan on coming to Asheville!
The River Arts home was adorable and very well appointed. Georgia was responsive and emblematic of Southern hospitality. This location is very convenient to all Asheville has to offer. We would highly recommend the Curate (get a reservation) and Bradbury Bookstore and Champagne Bar. The Biltmore is spectacular, also easy, nearby hiking and be sure to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway enroute back to Asheville. Great long weekend destination! Thanks Georgia for a wonderful place to use as our home base while in Asheville.
The River Arts Retreat is the perfect get-away-to-Asheville home! This home is immaculate and the photos do not begin to reflect the calm, peaceful, vibe. The furnishings are modern, the beds and bedding are super comfortable and the owner has thought of everything to make your stay delightful. She is easy to contact to answer questions and offer suggestions. The back yard and beautifully appointed deck area is an added bonus!
This house is on a quiet street, yet is close to everything we wanted to see and do in the Asheville area. We can't wait to return!
Great home, Excellent communication with Georgia. The home was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue I had was the street. It is a two way street, and parked cars lined one side. So there was great chance for an accident due to not being able to see up and over the hill. Also the driveway has a very narrow opening, making it difficult to park two cars. Aside from that it’s great! The home itself is fabulous.
