Wonderful week in Meribel at the La Grange de Marie

La Grange de Marie was a perfect place to stay for the week. The 5 ensuite rooms are all excellent, with great balconies to enjoy a beer after the day's skiing, watching the sun go down over the mountains. The location is very good, just a short walk to the free shuttle bus and the closest lift and run, with the village centre only 10 minutes walk away down the hill. The place was very clean, and one minor issue with the gas supply was sorted out within half an hour, very impressive!

La Grange de Marie Chalet was cozy and well kept. Close to the Morel lift. The owner was very helpful and attentive, the management company less so. Good place for a big group - well equipped kitchen. Clean and pleasant.

La Grange de Marie "Pros: The chalet is very nice, 4 floors in total. Everything is available in the industrial kitchen and was easy to use. Since all of the rooms are similar and have individual bathrooms, it was perfect for us 5 couples. Having a sauna inside is very luxurious, it warms up to 60C, which is more than enough. There is a boot heater for ski boots. It is a cozy location, 10 minutes of walking to Meribel Centre. Cons: There are two different companies that is involved in this listing. Once you book it, another company (DC-Home) is involved and they force you to communicate from email or whatspp. The hosts barely know English. Think twice if you dont speak French. There was no wifi, they couldnt fix it the whole week. COCOONR told me that I was rude to DC-home, which was a slander because they couldnt prove it and later acted like nothing happened. Miscommunication at its finest! Checkin was very unprofessional. They were late and maps is showing another location. We waited for 40 minutes!"
