About this property
Terraces of Warburton - a cozy, four-bedroom house with mountain views
Welcome to Warburton's newest short stay accommodation - a newly renovated four bedroom weatherboard house with large dining area, cozy living space with open fire, breakfast bar and 2.5 bathrooms. There’s plenty of space for you and your family or crew to relax.
The space
From the outside this looks like a charming, 1970’s weatherboard house.
Once inside though, you’ll find a house that has undergone a major renovation and blends the character of the era with some modern innovations.
We opened up the kitchen and dining space to create an open plan layout with large dining area, breakfast bar and fully equipped kitchen that’s ideal for cooking and eating together in the evening.
The two fully renovated, luxury bathrooms plus a separate powder room (making 3 toilets in total) means there are no long waits for a shower at the end of the day. Or, if you prefer a bath to relax and unwind at the end of day (perhaps with a glass of wine), you can soak for hours in the luxury free standing bath.
Each of the four bedrooms is fully fitted out with bedside tables, tall boys for your clothes and USB connections next to the bed to make charging your device easy. You’ll find Osteopedic Euro Top Pocket Spring mattress and hotel quality linen on each of the beds to help make sure you have a good nights sleep.
During the day the living space has great mountain view of the sun bathed western hills of Mount Bride and Goome Hill. In the evening it’s the perfect place to relax with a book, watch TV in front of the fireplace or log into your Netflix on our Smart TV for movie night.
We like to spend time outside so we have spent a bit of time thinking through what we need to enjoy the stars at night. We decided on two fire pits - one in the private front garden just off the outdoor deck and the second on the top terraces where you can sit in the pagoda and enjoy the amazing panoramic views over the valley. You will have to carry your fire wood up the stairs for that one, but it will be worth it.
The outdoor deck has a Webber Q barbie for your family dinners. And when it’s in season, the lemon tree will help put the finishing touches to your gin and tonic. Please help yourself to the fruit!
.There is a new AC system in every room to help make sure the house stays cool in summer and warm in winter. We also made the decision to try and make the house a bit more sustainable and energy efficient so we insulated under the house, in between the walls and in the ceiling. This will make the place much more comfortable for you during your stay.
Our dog Dizzy loves his Warburton stays and adventures and we are happy to make this house pet friendly so you can also bring your furry friends. They can use the front yard, or adventure with you up to the terraces.
The Outdoor Area
We admit the terraces at the back of the house are a work in progress. They are fun to explore as they are a little bit wild at the moment - (young kids should be supervised if they’re heading up there) but they also offer the best views of the surrounds. It will take a little time to get the gardens back to their former glory (the bath was rescued during the house demos and is on the first level waiting to be filled with plants - it is not junk) but we know that with a bit of love, time and some native plants, the gardens will thrive again. Until then, you can enjoy exploring up there, enjoy the views with a beer at the end of the day or have your morning coffee in the peace and quiet of the valley.
We have loved being here and part of the build, getting our hands very dirty and are excited to share it with some of you. It’s going to be an amazing place to spend a few days with your friends and loved ones.
Guest access
There is a long drive that runs up the side of the house that leads up to an outdoor area with space for 2 cars. Three more can fit in the driveway.
The doors have digital door locks and you will be sent your unique entry code 3 days before your stay.
There are 6 steps leading up to the front door. There rear door has just one small step to enter.

The welcome pack you will get sent will have our contact details in case you need us,
