About the host
Hosted by Wendy Liu
Hi! My name is Wendny. I’m a proud host, property stylist, kid-lover, and puppy mum based in beautiful Stanthorpe. I’m obsessed with creating cozy, welcoming spaces (and always hunting for the perfect decor!). When I’m not fluffing pillows or folding towels, I’m usually chasing after my playful Bichoodle or my two-legged little Bubbas. I love meeting new people and making guests feel truly at home—your comfort is always my top priority!
Why they chose this property
We live locally. Stanthorpe has always held a special place in my heart. Stanthorpe reminds me of a smaller version of Tasmania—with its cool climate, beautiful countryside, and seasonal produce. Nestled in the beautiful Granite Belt, it’s a charming country town known for its vineyards, crisp mountain air, and changing seasons—from golden autumn leaves to the occasional snowfall in winter. I chose this area because it offers the perfect balance of nature, local culture, and small-town warmth. Whether you’re here for a quiet escape or a wine-tasting weekend, there’s always something special to enjoy—fresh produce markets, scenic national parks, and friendly locals who make you feel at home. It’s a place that invites you to slow down and truly relax, and I love sharing that experience with my guests.
What makes this property unique
Our properties offer more than just a place to stay—it’s a thoughtfully styled retreat that blends comfort, charm, and local personality. Every detail has been considered, from the soft lighting and cozy furnishings to the calming colour palette and curated decor. You’ll find lockable bedrooms for extra privacy, plush bedding, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay—including a fully equipped kitchen, and even a first aid kit. What really sets us apart is the balance of warmth and functionality. Our family and friend love how it feels both welcoming and professionally presented, with quiet surroundings that allow for rest, yet close enough to enjoy Stanthorpe’s wineries, national parks, and fresh markets. Whether you’re sipping wine on the couch, spotting a kangaroo at sunset in your room or enjoying the crisp mountain air, the space is designed to help you unwind and feel something different.
