Thank you so much for your review. I couldn’t agree more that it’s the perfect quiet getaway, nestled in a peaceful forested setting surrounded by a lovely meadow. The original owners built the cabin in 1985 as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Twin Cities, and I share their appreciation for the serenity it offers. It’s also my own escape, where I enjoy relaxing walks with my dog on the nearby trails. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you’ll return for another peaceful visit soon.
We really enjoyed our stay at this whimsical & comfy house in the woods! Very fun layout with all the amenities we needed to have a comfortable stay. I would love to come back in the winter to enjoy the fireplace.

Dear Jessica, yes, please come back this winter and enjoy the fireplace. I agree that the cabin is whimsical and very comfy. Thank you for the five star review. I also enjoy that even though it is a cabin in a remote area, it has most of the comforts of home. I am glad you had a great stay.
Only issue was lack of AC on 90 degree days. I should have realized that ahead of booking. Great spot for spring/fall, just not ideal in such high temps.

From the owner: "Thank you for your kind review and understanding. We’re so glad you enjoyed the cabin and its great location.- We appreciate you noting that the only concern was the lack of air conditioning during unusually warm weather.- The listing does mention that AC is not currently available, but we’ve added multiple box fans throughout the cabin for guest comfort.- Our goal is to have a full AC system installed before the summer of 2026.- The cabin is especially ideal for spring and fall stays when temperatures are milder.Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback and for choosing our property."
