Little Lake George cabin was fantastic! The host was more than gracious and helpful with any questions we had. The backyard right on the St. johns river was a big bonus.

Old Florida charm - the house is set back very private and peaceful . The house was nice and clean with a gas fireplace which added to the charm. Host was very responsive and double checked the home prior to our arrival. This is a gem - the boat house was great to watch the sun set

Unfortunately, the property was not as advertised. The boat house was dirty and non-functional. There was trash in the boathouse that had not been emptied. The main house had no air-conditioning and several insects in the tubs upon arrival. The owner needs to invest in pest control as we had issues with roaches as well. The property itself is lovely but needs some tender loving care. Without air and functioning fans, our stay was miserable. The roach problem only added to the problems we experienced. In addition, the owner should consider treating the exterior for the blind mosquito population to help keep them at bay.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we're glad the location and the property itself came across as lovely, since we take pride in it. We're sorry the A/C system in the main part of the home failed during your stay, this was an unexpected mechanical issue and not something typical of the property. The insects you encountered were part of an annual, short-lived hatch of non-biting bugs that occurs in the area each year, and we understand how that added to your discomfort alongside the cooling issue. The boathouse has its power and water intentionally shut off for safety, but it is meant to be a clean, comfortable screened space to enjoy the river, and we'll make sure it's checked and tidied between stays. We appreciate you letting us know and will keep working to make sure future guests have a more comfortable experience.
