The first night was cancelled during our flight leaving us with no place to stay when we arrived.The communication was terrible, and we got no help. They made an excuse about their reservation software, but they could have made it work if they wanted to.The property is tired, does need more refreshing. The neighborhood is art deco, and this property matches in and should be preserved. Lots of clean up (loose outlets, patches in player, angled floors, bleached carpets).The room suffered from inherent problems of sea side rooms. Moisture inside growing mold, causing musty smells. They try to overcome the smells with plug in fragrance devices, but opening the windows works better. Mostly frustrated by the cancelled room causing a last minute extra expense. They offered no compensation for the cancellation.
