Enjoy Lake Superior beauty. Go for a dip in the lake, hike the trails nearby. Make a yummy meal on the new gas range. Have s’mores around the bonfire, play boardgames on a stormy day! Lake Superior has so much to offer. We would love for you to come and enjoy this little slice of heaven we call Anchor Down.

Children must be supervised outside at all times. The rocks in the water are very slippery, use caution!
Quiet hours are from 10 p.m to 7 a.m. Please keep in mind we have neighbours. Always completely put out the fire in the outdoor fire pit.
No candles in the house, please. Please be clean and tidy. Most of all enjoy!

The views are amazing, the property is in top notch condition for both functionality and beautiful decor, lots of thought and care went into it! The nights by the fire on Lake Superior were magical. If you are a party crowd, look elsewhere, we don't want you to ruin it for people who appreciate the things around them. For families with older kids (but not cell phone captive teenagers), or a romantic getaway, this place is a gem! And yes, it does have excellent wi-fi if you do have one of those teenagers in tow..

We loved everything about our stay here! The host was super responsive at booking and before arrival. Everything inside was exactly as advertised. The view looking out into Lake Superior is truly priceless, we enjoyed it during meals from the kitchen table and from the love seat in between. The master bed was very comfortable and the upstairs bathroom had everything needed. We did not use the bunk beds or the downstairs bathroom. We did not turn on any TVs, the lake was too captivating. We grilled steaks outside, made the rest of our meals inside and had every pot/plate/utensil we could have thought to need in there. The pictures are super accurate to what we found on arrival, no surprises of any kind during our stay. I will absolutely plan to stay here again the next time I am in the area.
