This was a great place that was well located. Everything we wanted to visit was about 15-20 minutes away, and the place is close to a major artery so navigation was easy. The suite was comfortable, and the owner was responsive. I missed a note early on about the wifi code, but one message later and we were all set.

The unit was quite clean and had most things you would need for a stay. Was close to the city which is a plus. A lot of noise from upstairs, seems like not a lot of insulation between floors resulting in a lot of footstep noise.

I'm accustomed to 'pictures lie' when it comes to booking services online. But this place was exactly as the pictures show. It was very clean. I loved having the washer and dryer. It's an easy drive to downtown Halifax. It's located in a very nice neighborhood. It was just what we needed.

In summary, we would stay here again.The owner was friendly and helpful whenwe had a couple of questions. The unitwas clean and is reasonably well equipped,assuming you don't want to serve dinner for 6.It is in fact the 'basement' of a townhouse,but the land slopes and the entry at the backis ground level, so it has big windows, lotsof light, and does not feel at all like abasement.The pictures on the VRBO website are a goodindication of what it is like: as good asit looks.There is on the street parking,but the owner left half the driveway clearso we didn't have to park on the street.It is reasonably convenient; it is closeto Dunbrack street, so it is easy to getout of town, and not difficult to get ontothe Halifax peninsula downtown, although youhave to avoid rushhour for that.Our only complaints are with VRBO.

Our host was great. The night we arrived, there was a Power outrage. When we were finally able to Read the streets name, our host was in front of the location with flashlights to guide us. Hé had installed emergency Lightning in the apt. All was great. The place was clean, confortable bed and too my. Thanks
