About this property
Welcome to Wilhelm Haus An entire three bedroom home in Tanunda.
Wilhelm Haus offers a welcoming place to call home during your visit to Tanunda and the Barossa Valley.
New to Airbnb & VRBO, this property offers new furnishings for comfort, amongst vintage finds for warmth and vibes. We’re calling it vintage minimalist!
An easy walk to shops, cafes and restaurants, and a central location for touring the fabulous Barossa Valley and wineries.
Or stay in and enjoy the comfort of Wilhelm Haus in summer or winter.
Reach out with any questions. We are flexible.
The space
Wilhelm Haus has three bedrooms under the main roof. The two main rooms have queen beds, with the third bedroom having two singles, which can be configured as a queen bed. All bedrooms have heating and cooling, and ample hanging space.
The bathroom is freshly renovated, with a shower, vanity, hairdryer and backlit mirror for your viewing pleasure. There is also a heat lamp for the cooler months.
The open lounge, dining, and kitchen area has a large sofa for all the guests, a smart TV, Bluetooth sound system and a gas log fire. No need to bring your own firewood and smell like smoke.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a Nespresso Uno coffee machine, a slow cooker and high-quality wine glasses. We recommend Saturday morning brunch at the Angaston markets, where you can purchase local organic produce to throw in the cooker, before heading out for the day. The kitchen will have some basics, but for anything else you may need, Foodland is a short walk along the decommissioned rail track (5 minutes). If you aren't up for eating in, all the cafes, pubs and restaurants in the town centre are a short walk away.
The laundry does have a washing machine and an iron with a board. There is a washing line at the back of the property.
At the rear of the house is a BBQ (we do ask you to clean the BBQ after use), table and chairs for six and a low seating area. Feel free to take the seats out into the garden whilst enjoying a game of boules in the large garden and afternoon sun.
If you are a cyclist, bring your bikes and store them in the secure back garage, which is easily accessible from the main driveway. Lock them away at night.
