I have no complaints, the owner was amazing and so communicative and even left a s’mores kit along with toiletries and lighter fluid! Hot tub and fire pit was amazing, communication was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

The perfect Mountain Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay! Mrs. Betty was wonderful and communicated so well throughout our entire visit. One of my favorite parts was the slow mornings spent on the front porch, sipping coffee and listening to the peaceful sound of the stream. It was exactly the kind of relaxation we needed!The bed was extremely comfortable, and we looked forward to winding down in the hot tub every evening. Our son had the best time exploring the stream and fishing right there at the property!The location was perfect! Close to Helen and Lake Chatuge, where we found some phenomenal places to eat. We also loved having beautiful hiking trails and a waterfall just a couple of miles away.This place truly had everything we wanted in a mountain getaway. relaxation, beautiful scenery, and plenty of outdoor adventures for the whole family. We made some wonderful memories and would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Charming cottage

This is the best location near Helen, Georgia. Spacious 3 bedrooms. Decorated so lovely. Stocked so well. Everything you need. Comfortable beds, sofa, large kitchen table. The fire pit and Adirondack chairs were great! Will stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay during our three nights here! From the moment we arrived, Ms. Bettye made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly accommodating, always available to answer any questions, and responded quickly whenever we needed anything.The home was beautiful, spotless, and so comfortable. The spacious rooms gave everyone plenty of room to relax, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept in while traveling. Our kids were so excited about the thoughtful s'mores treats—it was such a sweet surprise!One of our favorite parts of the stay was sitting on the front patio, listening to the peaceful creek nearby. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring and hiking. We truly felt at home and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a really nice stay at this home! It’s kind of tucked back and over a small bridge, totally safe, and the setting was very charming! Bedrooms were really good sized. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms clean, beach towels for hot tub. Be familiar with steaming if possible for tvs. Lots of remotes but once you find what works what you’ll be good. We used the hot tub, very nice and clean!

The place was very nice, however several glitches impacted our stay and our rating.The fireplace did not work and the owner knew his but was not noted in VRBO. The main room tv did not work and the house helper could not get it working either.host interaction was good. We also got locked out, the handle still had a lock capability on it even though the code lock was functional.Beds were good, kitchen was very organized and a very nice fire pit and jacuzzi.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We were aware that the gas fireplace logs were not functioning properly at the time of your stay and are currently in the process of replacing them.- We had mistakenly believed that the living room TV was a smart TV. While there were smart TVs in all bedrooms, we’ve since added a Roku stick to the living room TV, so it now has full streaming capability.- When you experienced a lockout, we came out to the property at 10:00 PM to assist in person. The keypad requires pressing the lock symbol to secure the door, and we’ve updated our check-in instructions to clearly explain this step for future guests.- We strive to provide a seamless and comfortable experience for every guest, and we’re truly sorry for the inconveniences that impacted your visit. Thank you again for your comments—they help us continue improving the experience for future travelers.

The house was perfect, sitting on the porch listening to the stream was so peaceful. It was nice to open the door and let my dog just run in the yard. I didn't have to wonder if she would be safe.
