We enjoyed our stay. The floors were dirty and our one year olds feet and knees turned black the first day. We swept often which helped. There were plenty of dishes but we needed more bake sheets that would actually fit the oven. The kids loved the lower level room with bunkbeds, movie theater and car racing game. I expected that space to be much larger than it actually was. We loved the grounds and the kids enjoyed fishing.

Our group of 16 fit comfortably, and there was truly something for everyone to enjoy. The property had plenty of space and activities to keep the whole family entertained, from kids to adults. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for a large group. The host was very responsive, helpful, and quick to address anything we needed, which made the entire experience stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to make memories together and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The grounds were great for family fun, but still in the process of being fixed up. Some areas were still unfinished on the grounds. There were a few things I wish I had known prior to booking. The sheets had black hairs on them and the outer bedding held a lot of hair bc it was made of material not easily cleaned. At least one of the mattress covers had pretty bad yellow stains near the head of the bed. The bathrooms and bedrooms do not have a general clean feel. The listing states that a caregiver is on the estate but it is not clear that it is in fact in the same house. They are just in the basement apartment which shares a porch with the house. They run a rental car business out of the driveway so cars are in and out of the driveway so need to keep an eye on the kids running around. Due to this, it’s not private feeling. You are very much with the caregiver/owner. Very helpful person if needed, but if you are looking for a secluded getaway…this isn’t it. Feels more like a shared space.

The house and property are beautiful. However, when we arrived the house was visibly dirty. We had to sweep all the floors before our family arrived. The cooking skillets had crusty food around the edges and the Teflon coating was scratched off. Cooking supplies were limited. Also, the house smelled like musty sulfur. Bring extra toilet paper, only one roll was supplied per bathroom.

The property was amazing especially when you have kids of all ages. There is something to do for everyone! We especially loved fishing and playing pickle ball. Plus they have everything you need at the property for tennis, pickle ball, and frisbee golf. We had brought our own already but it was nice to have extras! So much seating everywhere inside and out. We had an amazing trip!
