The home is located a short drive from the village and made for a great base to explore all that Whistler had to offer. The house itself is beautiful and well equipped with quality cookware and appliances which made cooking enjoyable unlike many other rental homes I've stayed in. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet with views into the forest and a backdrop of mountains. The only negative is that the house is not equipped with air conditioning which made the stay less comfortable, especially trying to sleep at night during the heat wave while we were there. We ended up having to purchase fans for each room in order to get some relief. Overall a great home but perhaps not for the peak of summer.
