Villa Alamaya - our new favourite!
We have stayed at several of the Cool Bali villas over many years, and recently had 9 days at the new Villa Alamaya.
We loved it!
You are tucked away from the often busy main road and the tourist shops … although it is only a few minutes walk to the ICON and beach down Gang V. The villa itself is down a small gang and is very peaceful and quiet.
There are 3 bedrooms, all with their own bathroom and air conditioning, a lovely kitchen and lounge area, and a smaller but refreshing pool. The garden is also beautiful.
There is a really good restaurant called Blend Cafe a couple of minutes walk away (turn left from the gang) and a SENSATIONAL coffee and focaccia shop up to the right from the gang called Cultured Brew and Ferment (they also do a home fermented ginger beer which is perfect to settle an upset tummy). Warung Papa Pizza is also delicious and very reasonable (to the right - and you feel as if you are eating in a relative's garden … )
The staff at the villa (as usual) will go out of their way to make sure you have a perfect holiday. Need something or have a question? Just ask them! And ask Arie to cook you breakfast. Mmmmm.
And Vanessa is always helpful and friendly - with excellent communication.
We are so glad we discovered Cool Bali Villas many years ago.. and will be back!!
