Perfect Home Base

Found the property in very good condition. We planned on visiting Yellowstone for a couple of days and this was about a hour away. Town is quiet and we found two good places to eat, El Rincon (Mexican) and pizza. Also, visited Harriman State Park for some hiking, about 30 miles from Ashton.

We loved the house. It has stairs down to the basement for access to the laundry room. We only needed 1 bedroom so didn’t use upstairs bedroom. Very clean. Felt very safe.

4/10 Poor

Weird issues

The house was cute, but the second bathroom in the listing was deceptive, not only was it in the incomplete basement it was also very dirty. The main bathroom dint have any locks and for a family of 5 that was a HUGE problem, also the cleanliness of the house in general was sub par.

We're sorry to hear about the cleanliness issues you encountered and want to assure you that this is not the standard we aim to uphold. Our goal is to provide every guest with a relaxing, hassle-free getaway, and we sincerely apologize for the inconveniences that impacted your stay. We also regret any breakdown in communication and any concern regarding the towels in the basement. Guest feedback is important and helps us improve, and we thank you for your insights.

Fishing Trip

The property had not been cleaned on arrival due some uncontrollable circumstances. It was finally finished by 9:15 PM. The rest of the stay was fine and served our purpose quite well ( my grown son and I were fishing various rivers). Hot week but fans in every room helped keep us cool. Quite neighborhood. Dave’s Jubilee grocery store was much bigger than outside appearance and had all we needed. The house could use a few reading lamps. Good shower. Good phone and Streaming service
