Beautiful beachfront condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful vacation in Hilton Head. Beautifully decorated condo - so very comfortable with good ocean view. The bed felt a little bit smaller than we were expecting. Still really nice room with a good view of the ocean. Check in process was fairly smooth. We came in later than expecting and they worked with us with a check in process very nicely.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
The condo is on the smaller side, but it was very clean, nicely updated, and had everything we needed for the trip. The kitchen/fridge and TV were great, and the A/C kept the unit cool. The bedroom was a bit cramped even for a queen bed, but it didn’t bother us much. Getting in and out of the gate was fine, we never had trouble finding parking, and the elevator made a big difference for carrying luggage and supplies. Proximity to the beach was another plus. On the downside, the pool area and accessories (chairs/tables) could use an update, and the pool’s location/size felt a little misleading compared to the photos. We assumed it was on the beach side with sun most of the day, but it’s on the street side and surrounded by multi-story buildings, so it becomes mostly shaded by late afternoon. During our stay there were also lots of kids splashing and repeatedly jumping in, which is fine for families, but it wasn’t the most relaxing pool environment for a couple without kids. The overall property could use some general upkeep/landscaping, and the hallways smelled musty (possibly due to humidity). We also noticed some tenants leaving trash, including used diapers, in the hallway. That said, the condo itself was nice, check-in/check-out was easy, and communication with the owner/rental company was responsive and polite. We may prefer a resort/hotel next time for amenities and upkeep, but if you want a clean, updated unit with easy beach access, this is a solid option.
