The listing said two pull out twin beds there was just one normal pull out coach. Was going to have a third stay with us one night ended up having to not have her come due to this.

This is a very functional apartment in great neighborhood. The pictures make it appear new and modern, but it is not. The building is old and so is the bathroom. The bed and sofa bed are comfortable, and the apartment is quiet, considering NYC. But the apt is dark. The few windows look out on a brick alley way and fire escape. The only real light comes from the small bathroom off the kitchen. There are no dressers for clothes, no ironing board, or end tables with lamps. The price for the apartment seems high for the quality of the apartment. The host, Victoria was very attentive and prompt and did her best to fulfill all our requests.

Overall, my wife and I loved this little apartment. It was in a great location, very close to the East River walk and Central Park. The apartment was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed: from a well supplied kitchen, plenty of hot water, and super fast internet and tv. There was also plenty of heat and A/C. Finally, let me say the host was super attentive; answer our communications almost immediately. For the price we paid for a week, it was an excellent deal! I would recommend this property if you are wanting to stay on the upper East side of NYC.

The apartment is described as bright and the photos are very misleading. It is dark and very small!Up two steep flights of stairs which should be highlighted. No dresser or shelves for clothing and the only place to open suitcases is in the very small living room. AC extremely loud and not effective at cooling the apartment. It’s a good location, the kitchen is fine, and the toiletries are a nice touch. But we were very disappointed and left after one night.

The apartment was in a good location up three flights of stairs with a good fire escape off the kitchen. Three people had one towel each for one week. I asked for an iron for a special event more than 24 hours ahead of time. There is a steamer in the room but I needed to press a dress for the Tribeca Film Festival. I could do with just an iron, no board I requested. I did not hear from the owner until the day after my event. Neither contact I was given @ check-in responded to my request. Later the owner told me it was due to surgery recovery- God knows, I, of ALL people, understand how surgery interrupts your life - but SILENCE??? Nothing...no text... then don't run a business- go on vacation to find your host is RUDE & you feel unwelcome. It was a hot sleep. Both rooms need fans. It would really be nice to put up a curtain on the see through French doors. There's no privacy to change clothes except in the teeny tiny bathroom.
