Free City Tram (within the CBD):
Tram rides inside the Free Tram Zone cost $0—great for hopping between South Terrace, Rundle Mall/Festival Plaza, Botanic Gardens and the Entertainment Centre. Closest CBD stop for shopping is Rundle Mall (about a 10–15 min walk from the apartment).
Free City Connector Bus (99A/99C):
A small electric loop bus circles the CBD & North Adelaide every day (weekday freq. ~15 min). Handy if you’re toting bags from the markets.
Airport → City (no rideshare needed):
The JetBus J1/J1X runs between Adelaide Airport and the CBD (Grenfell St / Pulteney St stops) with tap-and-pay onboard—simple and budget-friendly.
O-Bahn buses (northeast suburbs):
If you’re visiting friends up north-east, the fast O-Bahn buses depart the city along Grenfell Street and zip to Tea Tree Plaza via a dedicated busway.
Trains & Glenelg tram (paid zone):
From the Free Tram Zone you can continue paid services out to Glenelg Beach; trains from Adelaide Railway Station cover metro/coastal lines (use Adelaide Metro’s journey planner for real-time options).
Parking:
We must again re-iterate that there is no on-site parking; use nearby street bays or public carparks (apps make it painless).
