Other things to note
Please note that we do lawn and pool maintenance during the weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and may be outside very briefly during your stay.
Kindly note that we ask all guests to take their trash with them upon checkout, including any food items left in the fridge. A small fee may apply if this is not done.
Additionally, late checkouts without prior approval may incur an extra charge. We appreciate your understanding!
Fire Ban: Stirling-Rawdon-Tweed Fire Service has put a full burn ban in place until further notice due to very dry conditions.
No outdoor flames are allowed, including campfires, fire pits, fireworks, or burn barrels. Propane and natural gas BBQs are still fine to use for cooking.
By law, all guests must wear properly fitted life jackets when using the watercraft. We provide a selection of adult and child life jackets; however, sizes and fit cannot be guaranteed. Guests are responsible for ensuring they have life jackets that fit them properly. If the provided jackets do not fit, guests must bring their own.
We kindly ask that all guests respect the following rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
**Camp/Cooking Fires**
• Small campfires are permitted, subject to restrictions from the Ministry of Natural Resources or local authorities, especially during dry seasons.
• Only burn clean materials. Please do not burn plastic, tin cans, glass, or any non-combustible or harmful items.
• Always fully extinguish your fire with plenty of water before going to bed or leaving the area.
• Guests must bring their own firewood. Firewood is available for purchase at the Esso station located 5 minutes away ($10 per bag).
**Guests and Noise**
• This is a No Party Cottage. Additional guests are not permitted on the property without prior approval from the owner.
• Unauthorized guests or disturbances may result in additional charges.
• Please keep noise to a minimum. Complaints from neighbors may result in penalties or additional fees.

• If you smoke, please dispose of cigarette butts in a proper fire-safe container.
• Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground for safety and environmental reasons.
**Fireworks**
• Fireworks are strictly prohibited out of respect for the neighbors and surrounding nature.
