Property in a good location. Communication with host was effective. However......could have been cleaner ( skirting boards ?), there were absolutely no written instructions on how to use equipment, air con,key fob, checking out etc. As visitors from the UK,we are not used to some tech. Beds were uncomfortable and furniture was basic. We had to message host every time we wanted garage door opened....as UK visitors, this meant having to pay high rates for phone data ! Wardrobes in rooms only had 2 hangers and both wardrobes were filled with rubbish eg an old TV and its box ! Towels were left in the dryer .Would have appreciated a folder with various instructions.Views were good.
This is a fantastic location cannot be beat. Gorgeous view and close to shopping and lakefront. Host answered questions promptly. But there are a few things to be aware of and/or small improvements that would take this from a good to great VRBO. 1. If you have a car, you have parking. But you need to text the owner to open the garage remotely whenever you return to building. Everything else is seamless. 2. It would be helpful to provide a few more basics for short term rentals and/or be clear about what is not. There was TP, but only 2 paper towels on the roll and no napkins or tissues - which I expect for a week stay but for 2 days, it was a surprise & we had to buy some. Nothing in the description suggests that we should bring our own paper products etc. Also no laundry detergent (which is about 50/50 in VRBOs but not specified)3. Towels - there were bath towels but no hand towels or washcloths. When we asked to make sure they were for our use, we learned there were a couple more. Host offered to bring more, which we appreciated did not feel we needed to bother him with. 4. Provide guests with an instruction sheet on building safety — how to reach security if needed and fire alarm procedures (we heard an alarm in middle of night and wondered if it was fire. It stopped, but would be helpful to have in case of emergency
Location, location, location! Gorgeous views of Lake Ontario, and easy walkability to shops, restaurants and the lakefront made this property especially wonderful. The host was very responsive to texts and very accommodating when we decided to add an extra night. That we had to text the host to open the garage door every time we wanted to park was a bit of a surprise, but worked out ok. Do be aware that the parking spot is 7 floors below the building, and the tight turns would be difficult for a larger vehicle. While the location is exceptional and it is a luxury building, there are a few small things to be prepared for: there is no coffee maker (we bought coffee from nearby cafes and just warmed it in the morning) and you’ll need to bring your own washcloths and shampoo, etc..Overall, we loved our stay and look forward to returning to this property when are in the area again.

Have stayed at a number of VRBO’s and this was one of the poorest. Only thing going for it is the view but the property was poorly provisioned. No coffee maker, no toaster, no cutlery. Bedding and towels just a mish mash of older items.. as were all the dishes, cups, etc. One single sheet on the bed with an old comforter. Bedding was actually damp because the previous guest left late. Furnishing very sparse. Parking inconvenient as you had to call the owner each time you wanted to enter the garage as he controlled it with an app of some type. He was always able to do it but an inconvenient process. New building but not well maintained. Apparently many tenant complaints. Would not recommend
