Fully renovated, spacious, relaxing, and quiet ground level home away from home. We are conveniently located mid town near restaurants / shopping and within the Valley International Country Club.
Our 1,020 sq ft home has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 TVs, and a large fully stocked kitchen. This charming Villa could be the perfect spot for a business person, family vacation, or the seasonal Winter Texan looking for accommodations of 30 plus days.
Our open layout allows for an overall pleasant and relaxing living environment. The french doors lead to a private front patio which provides an additional peaceful outdoor space. Also, for your convenience, we provide a full size washer and dryer.
The living room includes a work desk with a printer and free Wifi. Our 65” Smart TV includes free Netflix, Samsung tv, spectrum tv, and local channels.
Each bedroom includes furniture and closet space for all your storage needs. Plus, ceiling fans for additional comfort. The master king bedroom includes a 50” 4k smart tv with Samsung TV plus channels and free Netflix.
The Country Club amenities add additional perks to your stay. Enjoy the full size pool, hot tub, and gym. For the golfer, the 18 hole Champion course is available at very reasonable rates.
Our Villa has proven to be a great fit for either long or short term stays. Our Guests have consistently given us extremely favorable feedback, especially on Cleanliness. In summary, our property is exceptionally clean, well appointed, pet free, and smoke free.

About the host
Hosted by John Hoysick
My wife (Alma) and I are both retired. Alma from Finance and myself from Manufacturing with many many years in Plant Management. Alma is originally from Indiana and I from western NY. We met at work, here in Brownsville, over 30 years ago and still live in the area. Today, we enjoy Hosting, traveling, a healthy lifestyle, and the occasional walk on the beach.
Why they chose this property
We bought our Villa in 2014 so our daughter could have her own space while attending the local University. She lived there for about 5 years until she married and moved out of state. We considered selling or even downsizing and moving in, but ultimately chose to start hosting in September of 2019. Our Villa is very special to us as we continue to be the Owners and Caretakers of the property.
What makes this property unique
What we love about the property starts with the single level construction and 2 parking spots right in front of the Villa. Furthermore, we love the interior open layout and the large kitchen, with granite countertops and a ton of cupboard space. Additionally, we love the private front patio that we outfitted with reclaimed wood furniture. Lastly, it is a very quiet and safe area... and did I mention the country club perks!!
