Une "Belle" un peu abandonnée

L'emplacement est formidable. La maison a un potentiel extraordinaire. Il est dommage qu'elle ne soit pas plus valorisée intérieurement et extérieurement. Le mobilier est basique, la déco désuète, les lits trop petits (135x190 est une norme dépassée) même si la literie était confortable. C’est une villa qui mérite un peu de travaux de rénovation et il est dommage que le propriétaire ne fasse pas ce minimum pour lui redonner « le plus » qu’elle a dû avoir lorsqu’elle a été construite. Car la vue et l’emplacement sont réellement « à tomber ». Ceci dit, je relouerais volontiers cette maison. J’espère que mes commentaires seront relayés au propriétaire.

Lovely St Valery

We stayed at this house last year and immediately booked it again for this year. The house is spacious and has everything you need, especially for a holiday including small children - a big sunny garden, crazy golf immediately next door, 2 minutes walk to ice-cream, 5 minutes walk to a swing park etc. It also has its own parking for at least 2 cars. St Valery itself is a lovely town - bars, restaurants, steam train, boat trips - all within easy walking distance of the house. Sunday mornings a big food/clothes market sets up between the house and the town centre - buy a roast chicken for dinner!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette charmante maison de la fin du XIXe siècle. Elle est idéalement située, en bord de Somme, entre la cité médiévale et la zone touristique. Mention spéciale à notre concierge, qui a répondu à toutes nos demandes avec réactivité et le sourire.
