Secluded stone house in the middle of woods with stunning views
A BEAUTIFULLY RENOVATED STONE HOUSE LOCATED IN A SECLUDED SPOT (5700M2) SURROUNDED BY NATURE BUT ONLY 10 MINS BY CAR TO THE LOVELY VILLAGE OF SEILLANS. Basetxe (House in the woods in Basque) offers modern accommodation for four to five guests. The house is reached by an 800m track that is not suitable for sports cars. The main bedroom with ensuite bathroom is located upstairs. The second bedroom (twin or double) is also located upstairs. This bedroom has a sloping roof. Downstairs there is a single bed which converts to double or two twins with ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom upstairs shares the downstairs bathroom.
On the ground floor there is a good functional kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a kettle, filter coffee maker, Nespresso machine and toaster.
The living area is open plan with a dining area for six, a small seating area next to the open fireplace then steps down to the tv area with sofa and international internet tv. Wifi throughout.
A terrace is accessed from the tv area. There is a dining table for six and two loungers to enjoy the wonderful view including the villages of Fayence, Mons and the Massif de l’Esterel. You will also enjoy watching the many gliders from the Fayence airstrip.
The 12m pool is just a short walk from the house, two levels below.

Having spent all my childhood summer holidays in the area then moving permanently to France 30 years ago, it seemed a natural progression to buy a house in this lovely area. My husband and I fell in love with this house the first time we visited. It is a special place loved by all who visit.
Why they chose this property
The winding track through the woods brings you up the hill to where the house is ideally situated giving stunning views over the valley to the villages of Fayence, Tourettes and Mons in the distance the the Massif de l’Esterel in the distance.
Surrounded by nature with the birds and cicadas. In Spring you might be lucky enough to see a deer or a wild boar family. Every day brings wonderful sunrises.
