Super cute condo! Very cozy and great location at the top of Oma's Meadow. So fun to walk out the door and ski down. Condo was clean, decorated super cute, very comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked. Owner clearly cares about this property and their guests! Also, clubhouse with pool, hot tub and sauna are very clean and great to have access to!

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a five star review! We hope you will join us again soon. Send your friends!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo! It was very well stocked and had amazing views! Perfect for our short ski get away! They did a great job treating the road and keeping the steps and boardwalk clear from snow and ice! We will definitely be back!
Our family had a wonderful time. The unit was very easy to access. Unit is right next to a ski lift making getting off and on the slopes easy. Condo was clean, nicely decorated, warm and cozy! Grocery store and ski lodge are just a short drive down the mountain. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are nice to have close by. Will be back!

Thanks so much! We look forward to hosting you again soon!
If you’re a skier this is the place for you. Nestled on the top of Sugar Mountain Ski resort this place offers skiers a place drop on in and head down the mountain. The condo was clean and spacious and offered great amenities. The heat almost works too well. Owners are very responsive and friendly.
When we arrived it was 4 degrees and cold to say the least. Condo was clean and comfortable and just a few steps off the slopes. The only issue was could get living room baseboard heater to work but owner had a freestanding one to help. Excellent time and we will be back but hopefully alittle warmer skiing weather. Thanks for allowing us to stay! Recommended
Profile photo is a bit misleading. It makes one think that the view onto the lift exit station is from the condo. The condo is however in a very attractive resort in waking delists from to ski slopes and indoor pool amenities.
Floors had not been mopped. We broomswept before we unpacked. Ceiling fans and below furniture and some decorations hadn’t been dusted for a while.
A cute interior and all items were available that one needs. Towels and linens were nice and fresh.
Communication was excellent.
Price was good.
Views from condo are nice.
My family had a good experience until after our stay we were accused of ripping the recliner by the owner in which was ripped when we got there but was not noticed until the second day we were there as it was covered with a blanket. Also was accused of stealing a TV power cord in which we would have no need for. I asked for photos from the owner showing the recliner was not damaged prior to us getting there as they stated they had and recieved nothing. I was required to purchase a $59 insurance policy before booking so I guess this was to cover the recliner that was damaged prior to our stay. I have used VRBO several with NO issues prior to this incident.
The mountains have been a part of our life for as long as we can remember. After our daughter started at Appalachian State University, we bought a condo at Sugar Ski and Country Club for weekend visits and access to skiing. we renovated the condo and fell in love with Sugar Mountain and hope to share our love of the mountains by hosting our condo.
Personally, we have been married since 1988. We have three children. Our daughter is married and has two young boys. Our oldest son is married with an infant and our youngest son will be attending Appalachian State University in fall of 2023. We enjoy skiing, hiking, restoration projects and traveling.
Why they chose this property
We believe you will enjoy this unit as much as we do. The privacy of this particular unit is unique to the complex. It has two parking areas unlike any other buildings in the complex. The unit can be accessed by either lot. The end unit provides additional windows that are not in the interior units. This provides additional sunshine and a nice cross breeze in the summertime.
What makes this property unique
This unit is in the only true ski in/ski out complex on Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. The complex sits on Oma's Meadow. Building 8 has a bridge that connects to the ski slope. If Oma's Meadow is not open, you can still walk to the main slope to ski down.
This unit has been opened up to feel much larger than the traditional layout, allowing room for family members to move around the unit freely, without colliding into one another.
