*All cooking has to be done with what the house provides and the BBQ on site. It is not allowed to bring anything with charcoal, gas, propane or anything of the sort. Just what the home already has. Thank you!

Guests' Rules
Welcome to the rules for The Lodge at Timberline Trail Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.
1. Maximum Occupancy: 16 guests (10 adults max).
2. Parking: Space for 4 vehicles, excluding garage access. Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
3. Pets: No pets allowed. If this rule is violated, you will receive a minimum of a $1,000 fine and eviction.
Please respect the home and follow the rules, just as you expect timely assistance from us. Many of these rules are city regulations, while others help us maintain the homes in top condition. Our goal is to ensure a great experience for our guests and property owners. * Check-In: Remote check in after identity verification. * Parking: Follow city-enforced parking limits. If you need more space, let us know. * Occupancy: Adhere to the maximum occupancy limits enforced by us and the city. No exceptions. * Noise: Be respectful to neighbors. Keep music inside and at a low volume. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. We have monitoring system in place that reads decibels of noise and notifies you directly and us of loud noises. * A/C: Most homes do not have air conditioning. Nights are cooler with open windows. * Ants: Clean up after meals to avoid attracting ants. We use traps and sprays, but cleanliness is key. * Trash: Dispose of trash at the designated clean site as required by city regulation. * Age Requirement: You must be at least 24 years old to book. We do not allow parties. This rule is strictly enforced. We appreciate your cooperation. If you have any issues or concerns, please communicate with us—we're here to help.
Check-in starts at 4 PM Checking In: * IDs are required at check-in. * You must be 24 years or older to book and check in. * You'll need to sign a Rental Agreement with the Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy (5 minutes). The link with the rental agreement will be sent once the booking is confirmed. It needs to be completed and signed before checking-in. To confirm and maintain your reservation, our Rental Agreement must be completed within 24 hours of booking. Failure to complete the agreement within this timeframe may result in cancellation without refund if the cancellation window has passed.
Please note: Our standard cancellation policy applies from the moment the reservation is confirmed, not from when the rental agreement is completed. By booking, you agree to complete all required documentation within the given timeframe and to be bound by the cancellation terms.

We had such an amazing time at this property. There was so much to keep us all entertained throughout our entire stay. Everything was as described! Place was clean, and in a great location. We were provided with the essentials. I loved the cabin and would definitely book our stay here again.
They allowed us to check in 2.5 hours early, that is very important. They had great communication with us. Answered all our questions, was nice, polite and cared about our questions. The house was nice. They asked for our comments, suggestions and etc after the stay. Everything worked in the home and it was decorated for Christmas which was an extra benefit even the bedrooms.
The place is nice. Lofty area, good views BUT, not ready to be rented to guests. Not enough towels, kitchen not at all equipped,
no shampoo or soap, and other things that you will have to bring with you, that you should not when going to a full house rental.

In all our communications you never mentioned that you did not have enough towels, soap or shampoo or you were missing something in the kitchen. If I would have known this I would have had somebody of my team dropping off extra supplies. I'm sorry that you decided to share this in a review instead of communicating that to me. It is really not how we like to do things or rent our houses, maybe we missed the count, maybe we had the wrong amount of guests in the reservations, but next time I would really appreciate if you could communicate that to us.
I'm glad you liked the house overall and you enjoyed it. You were a great guest and I would love to host you again, next time I promise we will have all the supplies needed ready for you.

Our friends had an amazing stay! Really impressed by the variety of games in the den and how well the kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils you would need! Would love to come visit again in the future :)

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin in Castle Glen Estates! It’s a very nice neighborhood with quiet streets, perfect for walks and driveway play with the kids. The cabin we stayed at has beautiful mountain views from all rooms of the house! The game room downstairs was the perfect spot for the kids to hang while the adults enjoyed the upstairs. We loved sitting by the fireplace inside and enjoyed making s’mores at the outdoor fire pit! I was very nervous to travel during COVID but the cabin was very clean when we arrived, and we all felt safe. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We hope to go back one day!!
