Great if you don’t mind target practice

Beautiful cabin and land. Billed as a place of relaxation and serenity. My husband, I and our 2 boys, 5 and 7, usually camp out this weekend but decided to try a cabin experience. No one told us that the neighbor directly across the dirt road may engage in target practice (rifle) all afternoon on Sunday. It was so close and loud we kept our kids indoors and didn’t feel safe walking anywhere near the road let alone down it. I grew up in a rural depressed town where everyone hunted and had guns so I completely expect to hear shots here and there in the far backdrop.. just not 50 feet away, all day when we’re spending a large sum for a relaxing (and safe!) stay in the woods. I would not recommend this place to anyone for that reason unfortunately, let alone a family with small kids.
