La Bâtisse de Lucien ***** Swimming pool & Spa for 15 people

300 years of agricultural history have given all the charm to this old peasant farm in the heart of Auvergne. After being abandoned for several decades, my wife and I decided to renovate my grandfather's birthplace with my wife.

This is how La Bâtisse de Lucien was born, a 5-star cottage that has kept the traces of the past that make it charming and authentic. Combining high-end services our cottage is a place of well-being that combines conviviality and relaxation. Moments to share with family, friends, for a weekend or during your holidays in the heart of the volcanic Velay nature, 10 minutes from the city of Ponote.

There is a heated outdoor swimming pool of 4 by 9 metres. Depth from 1.15 to 1.45 metres and a small beach of 0.35 metres deep. Open from May 15 to the end of September.

Outside, a covered terrace of 80M2, allows you to enjoy the large area all year round and to eat outside as soon as there is a ray of sunshine.
The hundred-year-old walnut tree will make you enjoy its freshness in summer on this 25 m2 terrace.

In the outbuilding, all year round, you will have access to a 30 m2 Spa/relaxation area, equipped with a 5-seater Jacuzzi, and a lounge area allowing you to relax in peace and quiet facing the view of the surrounding mountains.

In the main building you will find 6 rooms:

On the ground floor there are 3 master suites with bathroom and separate toilet, equipped with 180*200cm beds.

On the second floor the bathrooms are shared with 2 showers, 2 toilets and a double sink. There are 3 bedrooms:
1 bedrooms with a large bed of 180*200cm
1 bedroom with 3 single beds of 90*200cm
1 bedroom with 4 single beds of 90*200cm

The kitchen is equipped for 15 people:
- A Smeg range cooker (1 large oven and 5 induction burners)
- 500L double door fridge
- 50L freezer
- Dishwasher safe
- Microwave
- Nespresso coffee maker
- Drip coffee maker
- Kettle
- Raclette machines

On the ground floor, you will also find a 30 m2 lounge area with a large sofa, its large 4K connected screen (168cm) and its table football.

Located in the countryside, the Bâtisse de Lucien is ideally located for outdoor sports.
You are also 10 minutes from Le Puy en Velay, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can stroll through its historic streets and find the best restaurants in the region that we will be able to point you to.
We are 10 minutes from one of the most beautiful lakes in Auvergne: the Lac du Bouchet in the heart of the Devès chain which allows us to believe for a moment in Canada.
