Quiet fisherman's cottage, 400 m from beach, sea view. Ideal for families

Restored winter 2021/2022 accommodation offering you contemporary kitchen equipped with new, new bathroom shower and double sink, changing table, baby bath, washing machine (laundry provided), TOWELS NOT PROVIDED (or optional 6 euros/person make the request payment on site), small winter garden with garden and sea view, living room with sea view and dining area remained in local stone to keep the authenticity of the small fisherman's houses, staircase with safety barriers (top and bottom). Upstairs, mezzanine with sea view, serving 3 bedrooms, 2 of which also offer a view of the sea. BED LINEN PROVIDED and beds made, please specify if the extra bed will be used, this is recommended for children or teenagers (for an adult the bed is a little tight!). No sanitary facilities upstairs. Board games, books, toys available.
You will stay between Barfleur (fishing port) and St Vaast La Hougue (fishing port and marina) where you can buy fish, shellfish and oysters... Barfleur also offers you the possibility of sea trips. In St Vaast la hougue you can embark for the island of Tatihou and visit the Vauban towers classified as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our rocky coasts of the Cotentin offer you pretty little quiet beaches and the opportunity to go on beautiful hikes ...
35kms away: Cherbourg, its harbour with sea walks as well but also the Cité de la mer: a must-see site for young and old.
30 kms away: The famous landing beaches, Sainte Mère Eglise and their many museums, these are places steeped in history...

This property is excellent, very well equipped and the location and proximity to the beach is outstanding. All the rooms were very comfortable with a gorgeous garden. Helene is an excellent host. We were sad to leave and will definitely rebook - we have holidayed in France for many years and this property and location is the best we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend this fabulous property.

Très belle maison décorée avec goût et pensée pour recevoir des familles avec enfants. Il y a absolument tous les équipements nécessaires pour se sentir bien. La proximité de la mer est un autre atout. Enfin Hélène est une femme adorable, chaleureuse et prévenante, avec qui il a été très facile de communiquer. Cette location est une perle, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Es waren wunderbare Tage. Das Haus ist unglaublich gemütlich und sauber. Alles, das man braucht ist vorhanden - und mehr - und Alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Lage ist toll - man hat nur wenige Minuten Weg zum Meer zu einem schönen Strand und freien Blick aufs Meer von Haus und Garten aus. Die Gastgeberin ist unglaublich freundlich und nett - obwohl die Sprachverständigung schwierig war (wir sprechen sehr wenig französisch, sie spricht nur wenig englisch), war es eine sehr erfreuliche Begegnung.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt es im nächsten Ort - ca. 6km entfernt.Wir können dieses Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Maison idéale pour un séjour en famille avec des enfants en bas âge (tout le nécessaire est sur place). nous avons été reçu avec de quoi boire et manger pour un premier collation. Tout est parfait pour un agréable séjour. Nous reviendrons sûrement avec les petits enfants.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der gemütlichen Fischerhütte. Unsere Gastgeber haben sich alle Mühe gegeben, dass es uns an nichts mangelte. Das Häuschen ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Alles ist sauber und nett zurechtgemacht. Sogar Gemüse aus dem Garten und selbstgemachte Marmeladen standen für uns bereit. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Der kurze Weg zu verschiedenen Stränden, das niedliche Örtchen Barfleur und der ergiebig tragende riesige Feigenbaum im Garten haben das Glück vollkommen gemacht. Selbst unsere (Prä-)Pubertiere haben die Gaben der Natur, das französische Essen und die Tage am Strand genossen - ganz ohne Handys. Und das will was heißen!Vielen Dank, Hélène und Jean-Michel!

Ruhiges Landhaus mit Meerblick und viel Platz für unsere kleine Familie in fußläufiger Nähe zum Strand. Gepflegte Inneneinrichtung und moderne Ausstattung. Großer Garten mit Liegestühlen und Gartenmöbeln. Sehr herzlicher Empfang bei unserer Ankunft. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen diese Unterkunft ohne zu zögern weiter.

Maison à la campagne très calme et idéalement placée par rapport à la mer avec vue. Décoration intérieure soignée. Équipements récents. Vaste terrain avec salons de jardin. Hélène nous a très bien accueilli à notre arrivée. Nous recommandons cet hébergement sans hésitation.
