About the host

Hosted by Elisabeth Grenier

Host profile image
I am a retired professional whom some might call a citizen of the world having travelled and lived on 4 different continents. I spend most of my time these days in Latin America but maintain strong ties to Europe, especially France, with whom I share a special bond.

Why they chose this property

I discovered "La maison de l'Arche" in Eynesse in 1972 where I spent several summers in what was then the home of my godfather’s French family. Little did I know that my indelible childhood memories of this remarkably lovely house on the Dordogne river and the beautiful surrounding region would lead me to purchase this property nearly 40 years later. Accordingly, we have endeavoured as far as possible to keep the original interior style intact.

What makes this property unique

I have many happy memories of my childhood in this house and the nearby countryside so when the opportunity arose to buy, I seized it without hesitation to the delight of friends and family. I hope you will also have a chance to appreciate its charm and its outstanding potential
