The apartment was clean and thoughtfully decorated. It included everything you'd need for a short trip or extended stay. The host was very helpful and communicative. Would book here again.
The owner has a design point of view that permeates all aspects that results in a one of a kind stay. All of the logistics went smoothly, We loved having a home base that allowed us to walk over and explore Sunset Blvd. Really enjoyed The Back Cat Tavern and having a difficult choice between La Colombe or Intelligentsia for coffee in the morning. While we walked around Echo Lake, next time we will give ourselves enough time to paddle about in a swan boat!
As you can see, the studio is adorable. The location is fantastic, in a really beautiful neighborhood in Silverlake; I walked to dinner at Bacari on Sunset Saturday night -- it was only a half mile and a lovely walk. I was worried I would feel claustrophobic in a studio, but that was not the case. There is a huge, lovely deck/patio, and the design of the studio makes it feel larger than it is. The kitchen is surprisingly well stocked - I had everything I needed, and I do tend to cook even when I travel. And that loft bed - I don't really know why, but that bed is wonderful. I slept better there than I do at home. Kari, the owner, is easily available, and check in was super easy. I travel to LA every month for work and have stayed in a lot of rentals, and this one is A+. I hope to stay here again and highly recommend you do too. It's a gem!
Kari was responsive and welcoming. The place was small but quite comfortable for one person, the deck overlooking the park was great, and just a short walk down to Sunset where all is happening.
Such a well put together place. The theme and design style was so cohesive and charming. The area was great with great coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques just blocks out the door. Kari was an amazing host who went above and beyond what you would want from a host. She handled everything extremely well. Would definitely stay again!
Our stay was amazing! The pop art made the studio so fun, and the space was super functional with everything you needed. There’s a huge private patio that was perfect for enjoying the great weather and made you feel like you had plenty of space to yourself.
The neighborhood was beautiful and it was easy to find cool places to check out.
Vero was a fantastic and responsive host. Check-in/out instructions were super clear.
We would recommend this stay to anyone!
