Marina Pinacate is a well liked Resort on the edge of the Sea of Cortez in Rocky Point Mexico. It sits where the ships leave the harbor, and is close by the main public beach. Across the street are fun bars and restaurants like Scully's, Max's, and the rest of Calle 13.

The Marina Pinacate grounds offer large pristine swimming pools. lounge chairs, BBQ grills, and shade palapas. The Resort has it's own exercise room and secure parking.

Pinacate 310 is a one bedroom condo with lively decor and a cozy feel. It's private balcony overlooks the Resort's pools. A full kitchen features a large tiled countertop. In the living room is a comfortable sofa, dining table, and an entertainment center as well.

Just around the corner from the town's Marina area, you will find many fun restaurants and bars nearby, and easy access to sunset cruises, and the town's popular Malecan area. The main public beach is close by as well.

Just perfect!

The unit was very clean and accommodating. The bed was comfortable as well. Lovely view of the ocean and pool area and We were able and to get wifi from the balcony. It was just a perfect part of our vacation!

This is as our first time at Rocky Point. The condo was on the third floor so we had an amazing view of the ocean. It was very clean and well kept.

Lovely Balcony with View

Nice little condo adjacent to Playa Bonita. Everything you could need. Lovely pool area. Full kitchen with everything you could need. Stacked washer and dryer. Direct TV included (by why watch TV with so many better things to do.) Close to port for boat tours, etc. Property management was great to work with. Highly recommend for low key, relaxing stay.

We received no info on where to go to check in. Went to resort and then told us we needed to go somewhere else. Would have been nice to know what to do before hand.

Nice location

Overall very good stay. Kitchen faucet broke and took two days for repair. Not sure why the delay but everyone was very pleasant throughout. Unfortunately several nearby shops and restaurants closed due to Covid and remain empty. But others were available with short drive. Parking security seemed very thorough and we'll monitored. Many boats coming and going which made views very engaging. Sunsets awesome! Pools awesome and busy on weekends.

Location and view are very nice. The condo is in need of of some upgrading.

Needs upgrading and deep cleaning. Old appliances, musty smells. Sofa bed mechanism was bent, but it worked . Areas under sinks were not good. The bed has a rubber protector on mattress which made it uncomfortably warm. All that said.... This is Mexico. I don't expect perfection.

VRBO gave terrible service.

I requested a condo for the period May 25-27. VRBO reserved one for only May 26-27. After I discovered the error, I could not get thru to anyone in order to correct it. So I had to make a reservation at a third rate hotel with an 11am checkout and then we had to wait nearly five hours without a room. In addition, VRBO foisted us onto a service called CASAGO which added another layer of difficulty and frustration. Furthermore, VRBO charged my credit card $26 without my knowledge or permission. I am protesting that charge with Citicard and will tell all my friends about this horrible experience with VRBO.

Stay was ok

Our stay was ok. Prior to arriving, I was not provided the check in information or instructions. When when I tried to message them, I did not get a response. Finally after calling the property Mngmt company, I was able to get the check info. Even when we arrived, we had to go back to the property Mngmt company (offsite from the resort) on 2-3 times because they had messed up our info- which was very inconvenient after traveling in a car with a toddler. When we got into the resort , it was not the cleanest. I had to wash the towels because there was hair on them, along with the bed comforter. There was also hair on the toilet. In addition to that, there was no essentials, such as shampoo or oil for cooking, which was inconvenient. We only got 1 roll of toilet paper to last for 4 days - which we had to request. They did bring it , but it was just inconvenient. Lastly, I would mention that if you have small children, this is not the place to stay. There was loud music until 3-4am- which made it really hard to relax.

Nice property with everything you need

The property seems clean and well kept. It had all the things we needed to cook and clean. The location was nice in that it was by the beach and shopping but a little bit off the main road where there's more traffic. On Saturday night, there's a bar that played music till 2 am soooo loudly that it was blaring into the room, despite that the bar was pretty far away. Check out process was easy, the person I spoke with at the property management company said I can leave the keys in the room so I did that. There is a button you can press to lock the door from the outside. Whenever you call the property management company, they always answer and are helpful. Check in was frustrating for me. I had received multiple emails after I paid and one email gave me the address for the property management company and a different email gave me the address of the property. With the multiple emails I received, I must have missed the email with the address to the property management company (I still haven't found it) and could not find where to go to check in and get the keys for a long time. Apparently you deal with a property management company and your check in is off site from the property you will be at. It's a few streets down. So just remember that part and look for an email for where it's located. If you don't receive it, call them and ask for it. Other than the frustrating check in process, the stay was very nice. The pool is also nice. It's about an 8 minute walk to the beach from the room.

Condo office was off site and nowhere on the instructions says that you must go to another site for the keys. Pretty much "go to the other building over there two streets down orange building and register and get keys". I saw two roaches..... Maybe fumigate periodically. Other than that, it was good.

3 day trip

Was very nice, as advertised, very nice view, great location close to everything. Main street gets really busy as the sun sets. Condo is very clean, only had one wash cloth, at night seems like you here everything from across the bedroom window, all in all very nice would stay here again.
