Peaceful in Hautevesnes

Hautevesnes is a perfect location for your exploration of the best of French country. We were there for a wedding and were literally a few km from the venue. The hosts were very charming even though we had travel issues and showed up later than expected. It was the only apartment/house on ours trip where every room had its own bathroom and we loved the outdoor space. Having a car for this area is a must to visit Champagne, Disney, etc, I highly recommend this location for families.

This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside. Thank you so much for our amazing stay.
