You can enjoy a beautifully wooded garden and a heated swimming pool which ensures a good water temperature from April.<br><br>The house is spacious, bright, comfortable, furnished with quality furniture and tastefully decorated.<br><br>Possibility to accommodate 6 people, or even 8 with a bed on the mezzanine of the master bedroom.<br><br>The house consists on the ground floor of:<br>‧ 1 large living room with lounge area (double sofas and television), a pellet stove, a dining area and a fitted kitchen with a central island.<br>‧ 1 master bedroom with 1 double bed (160cm), dressing room and en-suite bathroom (balneotherapy bath, walk-in shower and sink) and a mezzanine with an extra bed (mattress on the floor 140cm). Note that access to the mezzanine is via a very steep staircase, dangerous for children. This bedroom has direct access to the swimming pool.<br>‧ 1 separate toilet with washbasin<br>‧ 1 garage with a laundry area (washing machine/dryer/iron and ironing board)<br><br>Upstairs, there are:<br>‧ 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm) or possibility of making 1 double bed (180cm)<br>‧ 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160cm) and private terrace<br>‧ 1 bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. <br><br>Outside, you can enjoy a 980m2 garden with:<br>‧ A swimming pool (heated from April to October) of 8m x 4m (depth 1m50) secured by a bar tarpaulin<br>‧ A pool house with cloakroom, toilet and sink<br>‧ An outdoor shower<br>‧ 2 terraces (facing south for one and north facing the other)<br><br>You will have at your disposal, garden furniture, tables to take your meals in the shade, deckchairs to relax by the pool and an electric plancha.<br><br>From the house, many paths will allow you to walk through the Drôme nature, between lavender fields, vineyards and undergrowth.<br><br>***<br><br>LINEN<br><br>Bed linen and towels (2 per person) are included in the rental. However, pool towels are not provided, you will have to remember to bring your own.<br><br>***<br><br>ANIMALS<br><br>We accept dogs with pleasure and at no extra charge (with the owner's agreement depending on the animal), however we kindly ask you to respect a few rules:<br>• Prohibit him from the swimming pool, the bedrooms, the armchairs and sofas<br>• picking up your droppings in the garden<br>• Make sure it doesn't scratch the doors<br>• Do not leave him alone in the house<br>• and vacuum before you leave to remove as much hair as possible<br>Note that the garden is not fully fenced since there is direct access to a wood, on the side of the terrace to the north and the possibility of going around the house to access it.<br><br>We remind you that we are not responsible for any damage that your pet may cause. If these rules are not respected and damage is noted during the inventory of fixtures at the end of the trip, a deduction from the deposit will be made.<br><br>***<br><br>LOCATION and ACTIVITIES<br><br>The house is located in a quiet residential area, 10 minutes walk from the village.<br><br>Grignan is a small village of 1500 inhabitants, classified as one of the "most beautiful villages in France". Famous for its Castle where Madame de Sévigné stayed but also for the Collegiate Church of Saint Sauveur, the Grotte de Rochecourbières, its Wash houses and Fountains, its collection of old Roses along the alleys, its Museum of Printing and Writing, its Old Bookshops... and many other things to discover.<br>The Festival de la Correspondance (a cultural event to celebrate the art of letter-writing) takes place every year at the beginning of July.
