About this property

Peaceful Waterfront Retreat on Three Mile Lake • Bring Your Boat

🌿 Your Peaceful Lake House Getaway 🎣

Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city? Whether you’re coming to fish, hunt, spend time on the water, or simply relax beneath the beautiful cypress trees, this cozy two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath lake house has everything you need for a peaceful getaway.

The home comes fully equipped with dishes, utensils, appliances, pots and pans, linens, and towels, so you can settle in and start enjoying your stay.

One of our favorite spots is the screened-in porch overlooking the canal and lake—the perfect place to sip your morning coffee, curl up with a book, swing, rock, or simply enjoy the view.

Bring your boat! Boat-launch access is available, and there’s a small fishing pier directly behind the lake house where you can fish or tie up your boat. After a successful day on the water, use the large outdoor sink to clean your catch of the day. 🎣

And no need to haul everything upstairs by hand! An elevator/dumbwaiter makes bringing up groceries, luggage, and supplies much easier.

You’ll also enjoy a long front porch, washer and dryer, comfortable accommodations, and plenty of that laid-back lake-house charm.

Come slow down, breathe a little deeper, and enjoy your own peaceful Louisiana lake escape. 🌅🌳

Great place for family!!!

We had a blast!!! We had 4 boys ages 5 to 12 and they did not want to leave!!! Enough room for all 6 of us. Had everything we could possibly need, all we had to buy was food. They supplied a paddle boat, kayaks and life vests. I am already looking to book here again!!! Thank you Vera and Jeremy for being great hosts!!!

Lovely adorable lake house with charm!

Our time at this adorable little lake house was time well spent! It had everything we needed & some things we didn't even know we needed (kayak & paddle boat). We went there to evacuate from Hurricane Ida, but treated it like a vacation & were able to find some peace & tranquility during this difficult time. We will definitely keep this place in mind next time we want a getaway that's not too far away. (Just needed a couple more adult sized life jackets). Thank you so much!!! You were a life saver!!!

Oh, the views

This property is exactly as described. It was perfect for my husband and I. We came for a family reunion and we’re able to have family come over and hang on the back porch. Much better than sleeping on families couch. Bed was super comfy

About the host

Hosted by Vera

Host profile image
My husband and I love spending time at the lake and enjoying the simple things—family, fishing, beautiful sunsets, and slowing down from the busyness of everyday life. We enjoy sharing our lake house with others and want our guests to feel comfortable and at home from the moment they arrive. We’ve tried to provide all the little things you may need so you can unpack, relax, and start enjoying your getaway.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Three Mile Lake because of its peaceful setting, beautiful water, and gorgeous cypress trees. There’s something special about waking up by the water, watching the wildlife, fishing from the pier, or sitting on the screened porch and letting the day slow down. It’s quiet and relaxing, yet perfect for fishing, boating, hunting, or simply getting away from it all. This is our little piece of Louisiana paradise, and we’re happy to share it with you.

What makes this property unique

Our lake house is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place to slow down and truly enjoy lake life. Nestled along the water at Three Mile Lake beneath beautiful Louisiana cypress trees, you can fish from the small pier, bring your boat and tie up right behind the house, or simply relax on the screened-in porch and enjoy the peaceful view.

The home is fully stocked and ready for your getaway, with comfortable accommodations, a washer and dryer, an outdoor fish-cleaning sink, and even an elevator/dumbwaiter to make getting luggage and groceries upstairs easier.

Whether you come to fish, hunt, boat, spend time with family, or simply escape the city, our little waterfront retreat gives you a comfortable place to relax and experience the beauty and slower pace of Louisiana lake life
