Holiday home in the heart of Drôme Provençale that can accommodate up to 6 adults, 1 child, and 1 infant. <br><br>You can enjoy a 1,900 m² wooded outdoor area with an 8 m x 4 m heated pool secured by a fence, a dining area in the shade of oak trees (with an electric griddle), and sun loungers and umbrellas for relaxing by the pool.<br><br>The house consists of the following on the ground floor:<br>‧ 1 living/dining room with 2 sofas, TV, DVD player, and a large dining table<br>‧ 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, oven, Nespresso machine, filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and kitchen utensils<br>‧ 1 laundry room (behind the kitchen) with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine<br>‧ 1 bedroom with a double bed (160 cm) and a child’s bed (70 cm x 160 cm) with access to the veranda<br>‧ 1 veranda opening onto the garden with a view of the pool<br>‧ 1 bathroom with a bathtub, sink, and toilet<br>‧ 1 separate toilet<br><br>Upstairs, there is:<br>‧ 1 bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), a desk, and a private south-facing terrace<br>‧ 1 bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and a cot for a baby<br>‧ 1 bathroom with a shower and sink <br><br>Baby equipment on site: 2 high chairs, 1 changing table, 1 bathtub, 1 Babycook, and 1 potty<br><br>Wi-Fi connection<br><br>Air conditioning in the main room (living/dining room) and in the 2 bedrooms upstairs.<br><br>Private parking with electric gate<br><br>***<br><br>LINEN<br><br>For weekly reservations, bed linens (excluding the cot) and bath towels (2 per person) are included in the rental price.<br>Pool towels are not provided; please remember to bring your own.<br><br>For shorter stays, linens are available for rent:<br>‧ Double bed linens: 13€ / bed<br>‧ Children’s bed linens: 10€<br>‧ Bath towels (1 large + 1 small): 5€ / person<br><br>***<br><br>LOCATION and ACTIVITIES<br><br>The house is located in a quiet residential area, 2 km from the centre of the village of Taulignan.<br><br>Starting from the house, numerous trails allow you to stroll through the Drôme countryside, among lavender fields, vineyards, and woodland.<br><br>Taulignan is a village of 1,600 residents, an ancient medieval town dating back to the 14th century with a fortified suburb featuring eleven towers.<br>In the 19th century, Taulignan was a major industrial centre for silk reeling, employing several hundred workers. <br>You can visit the Silk Museum to learn about the different stages of a silkworm’s life cycle (from the hatching of the egg to the birth of the larva and its transformation into a butterfly) and the techniques used to turn silk into precious fabrics (spinning, reeling, and weaving). <br>A lovely walk along the “Silk Trails” starts from the village, winding through and alongside the old reeling mills that existed in Taulignan during the 19th and early 20th centuries. This 4-km loop takes 1 to 1.5 hours to complete and features informational signs near the main buildings associated with silk production.<br><br>In the village, you’ll find: a bakery, a butcher shop, cafés, a supermarket, an artisanal chocolate shop and cookie shop, a restaurant, a pizzeria, a tobacco and newsstand, and a market on Friday mornings featuring local producers and regional specialities: fruits, vegetables, cheeses (Picodon and others), wine, honey, lavender essential oil, and caillettes.<br><br>In the surrounding area, there are many activities to enjoy: a tree-top adventure
