Accommodation in a fully renovated townhouse, just a short walk from the castle park (and a children’s playground), a 25-minute walk from INSEAD and the forest.
Quiet yet central area with all shops and public transport nearby (bus). The train station is a 15-minute drive or bus ride away.
The apartment can accommodate 3 people (an extra single bed in the living room/kitchen area).
Please note: there is no TV, no oven (only a microwave), and no washing machine (laundromat nearby). You’ll have access to a refrigerator without a freezer, a kettle, a coffee maker, electric hotplates, and a toaster. Recycling is available.
The apartment does not have air conditioning, but a portable fan is available for your use.
Essential toiletries are provided at no extra charge (shower gel, shampoo, bed linens and towels, iron, hair dryer, etc.), but no equipment for toddlers is provided.
The living room/kitchen is on the ground floor, and the bedroom is upstairs. The unit is attached to the owners’ home. Cleaning fees include laundry and cleaning of the bathroom and floors. Please leave the rest of the unit in its original condition and contact me by phone once the reservation is made.
PLEASE NOTE: The apartment is not suitable for people with limited mobility (steep staircase). Parking is subject to a fee: it is possible to park on the street—though finding a spot can be difficult at certain times of day, except during July and August (5 euros/day or less per week) —or in a nearby underground car park, a 5-minute walk from the property (less than 30 euros/week). Free parking is available a 20-minute walk away.
Keys are handed over in person between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival. Medium- and long-term stays are not permitted (no more than 2 consecutive months).
The region is very popular with tourists and offers many activities, including rock climbing, forest walks, horseback riding, golf, and cultural visits (the châteaux of Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte; Barbizon, the painters’ village; Moret-sur-Loing, a medieval village; and Samois-sur-Seine..).
We look forward to welcoming you!
