From the property, it’s easy to walk to city centre (a 10-minute walk) or to the first lakes on the Restonica and Tavignanu rivers (a 5-minute walk).
The train and bus station near the large shopping centre is a 10–15-minute walk (2 minutes by car).
Parking in front of the property is available along the alley for 200 metres; it is free.

If you’d like secure overnight parking, there’s the “TUFFELLI” car park operated by the Corté town hall. The rates are very reasonable—just €1.50 per night—and the lot is covered, well-secured, and modern.

This car park is a 9–10-minute walk from the apartment.

This town of 6,000 residents, founded in 1419 by the Viceroy of Corsica, Vincetello d’Istria, is home to the University of Corsica (which has existed since 1765). Its rich history makes it a must-see destination when visiting the island. It was home to Corsica’s first independent government, led by Pasquale Paoli, between 1755 and 1769. Perched on a promontory, the citadel—which long served as a garrison—is now a renowned museum and offers a fascinating view of the town and its surrounding area. With its narrow, winding streets and traditional shops, Corté seems nestled within its mountainous setting and serves as the starting point for numerous hikes to the Restonica Gorges and the Tavignano River.
