This house was wonderful to stay in. It was extremely clean, the host was wonderful to communicate with, the shower is a little small but it’s a great place to stay! HIGHLY recommend this house if you are looking to stay. Plenty of room for people to sleep, a great kitchen, dining and living room, as well as beautiful views!
We had such a wonderful time on our trip to KY. The house was very clean and very comfortable, and I cannot say enough about the beautiful countryside and view. I highly recommend!
We had a family get together for a week. Our stay was wonderful. We had a great time. We enjoyed the views. We had plenty of room to enjoy our time together. We all agreed that we would love to visit here again.
Beautiful farmhouse in a rural setting. Very quiet with beautiful views in all directions! Everything we could have wanted was right at our fingertips!
What a delightful experience! The home was great for our family get together. However, it would be better for younger folk as there is no bathroom upstairs. Otherwise our stay was perfect.

Our family ages 2-64 stayed at Tracy’s place for a few days as we visited the Ark Encounter. We enjoyed every minute. Tracy was a great host and easy to communicate with. She left some great yard games for us to use which our kids really loved. The house has ample room, tastefully decorated, and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was great for cooking! We were just off a backroad with little traffic and the view from the swing was gorgeous overlooking the hills. We would stay here again if in the area.

It was great having you! You were wonderful guests. We love hearing that families enjoyed the games (inside and out) and layout of the house offering 2 separate TV areas to allow kids and adults to both enjoy an appropriate movie or show. Our comfy beds mean everyone sleeps well after a day outside enjoying the yard or relaxing on the porch or star gazing or sharing stories around the bonfire at night. It's amazing all there is to do and see close by.
Tracy was a wonderful host. The farmhouse was exactly how it was described and more. Comfortable beds, lots of space, beautiful views, and had everything you needed for a great stay. It feels like you’re visiting family. Tracy was responsive, helpful and wants her guest to enjoy their stay at the farmhouse.
The kitchen had plenty of cookware, utensils and dishes to enjoy a home cooked meal around the huge farm table. If you want a quiet, peaceful, place to reminisce about visiting the family farm; I recommend a stay Tracy’s farmhouse. We had a great time!
We enjoyed the peaceful setting of our stay. The house felt like a home and perfectly accommodated three adults and a dog. I would recommend this spot to others.
This house sits on a hill and has glorious views all around! We were there in fall and the trees just added to the beauty. The house is cozy with games, a fire pit with s’more making goodies in a basket for you. I would suggest some kind of latch lock for the bathroom with the shower. We had a few run ins with that while we were there. The kitchen is supplied well with everything you need to make meals for a crowd. We had 7 kids with us, no babies but there are baby items there that would make it very easy. We really enjoyed this place on our travels.
Sitting on the veranda In the evening watching the sunset is spectacular. The property is inviting and well equipped with everything you need, complete kitchen, comfy beds, big screen TV, a bathtub and an ice maker that works! And a big beautiful dining room table. We loved our stay there and Tracy is the best host! Always just a text away, and she has compiled a wonderful, complete adventure book that tells you about all the events, places and activities you can do. Can’t wait to go back there!!
We stayed a week through Christmas day. When we arrived, the house was decorated for Christmas, which was wonderful! The house had plenty of room for the seven of us. It has comfortable beds and the kitchen is well stocked. It is out in the country in a really peaceful area where you can just relax and enjoy the rolling hills. The host was terrific and very responsive to any questions. You can tell the host puts a lot of effort into making the guests feel comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
This place was perfect for our holiday get together. Well kept and stocked with everything we needed to cook a large dinner. The location is quiet and beautiful. Would love to see the landscapes in summer. Would definitely stay there again
What an absolutely wonderful weekend away. The setting had such an "Anne of Green Gables" feel to it. The views were stunning. The house was charming and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked. We have so many pleasant memories from this past weekend... from cornhole in the yard with the kids, to sipping coffee on the swing while watching deer pass across the meadow. Our entire stay was unbelievably refreshing, and we are already discussing when we can make it back.
Everything was great with our stay. Tracy was an excellent host and was helpful in every way. We highly recommend this property for anyone staying in this area.

About the host
Hosted by Tracy Pratt-Savage
I moved to Carlisle from Detroit in 2013. I grew up in a small town like this (Eden, NY) and my brother lives nearby. I joined the Chamber to meet people, became Economic Development Director for the County (for 3 years) and started a (9) county group to promote Economic Development through Adventure Tourism. Licking Valley Adventures is now (12) counties and offers a Website and Facebook page to learn about all the great places to eat, play, shop, stay and explore in our beautiful part of Kentucky. These days I travel a lot to see family and friends and especially grand-babies. Having had a lake house in the past we rented out, it made sense to do the same with the farm - to share it's beauty and tranquility.
Why they chose this property
For years I came to visit my brother who lives nearby, and fell in love with the area. I wanted to "retire" further south than Michigan but still wanted (4) seasons and an occasional snow. Kentucky provided all that. I have easy access to I-75 to head north to visit friends and family there, or south to Explore. One visit and you may also fall in love with Carlisle - The Little Town with a Big Heart. Carlisle 1,972 Population. Nicholas County 7,000.
What makes this property unique
Our 3 building resort is out in the country on a dead-end street. We feature a 4 bedroom farm house that sleeps 16, a 10x16 game room, and Kid Camp out tiny house. We don't have a lot of traffic noise or light pollution. You can see the stars at night, hear the birds and bugs chirp and sing and enjoy "the quiet". The Farmhouse is on a dead-end street great for walks past 2 barns and 3 houses. Great views in every direction. Watch birds including hawks, deer, turkey and an occasional skunk during mating season. We have (2) porches to enjoy sunsets and one for sunrises with a cup of coffee from our Keurig coffee station. Kitchen features dual-oven, Cuisinart pots and pans, griddle, Aroma Pot, Cuisinart food processor, blender, air fryer and more. Lots to do see, and visit within a 45 minute drive.
