Our family of 5 had a great time. The view of the lake is so peaceful and we made good use of the kayaks, nearby golf course, and a hike to the fire tower on Okemo. Communication with the owner was excellent and they were readily available to help troubleshoot two issues that arose. A great spot to slow down and unwind!

Okemo Ski Vacation

Beautiful house right on the lake- we had a great time (2 families, 8 people) the house comfortably accommodated us, and our host was excellent. Great location, very nice kitchen features. Overall we were very pleased with our stay- no problems whatsoever.

Wonderful stay

My family and I had a great stay at the house. It was perfect for us. Close to skiing at Okemo and a very picturesque setting on the lake. Joelle is very responsive to questions. Great house would highly recommend.

Cozy lakefront getaway

The house exceeded our expectations! We were 7 adults and there was more than enough room for all. The kitchen is well supplied with wares. The location and view is wonderful.

Excellent stay

What a wonderful stay. The home was so comfortable and clean with lovely views. Kitchen, bathrooms, sleeping, and living spaces were all very nice. Communication with the owner was excellent and instructions were very clear. We hope to return soon to experience another season at their lovely home!

Family Ski Trip

Great stay; a lovely location and well-stocked kitchen. A few small things could have made it better - shampoo, conditioner, body wash and tissues were not provided; upstairs bathrooms could use some updating and a deep cleaning (some mold on caulk, missing trim on some doorways). Be aware that 4WD is needed to get out to the main road after fresh snow.

Excellent Rental!

Our stay was wonderful. The rooms were great size and 3 full baths were perfect for our group! Kitchen is remodeled, has plenty of utensils, pots/pans, etc...and very cozy. The living room with fireplace was fantastic. The place came with a ton of firewood too! Our stay was in the winter and our plan was to hit Okemo each day. The drive to Okemo was about 10 minutes so the location was great. Had we stayed in the summer, OMG, the location right on the water would've been incredible. We highly recommend this place for any family or slightly larger group for a stay in the summer or winter.

Loved our 10 day stay!! Great Lake views from wrap around deck, kitchen, dining area, sun room, primary bedroom and primary bathroom, and upstairs sitting area Large kitchen with room and all necessary items to cook Furniture and primary bed very comfortable ( didn’t use other beds)

More Than a Cabin

The cabin is a perfect mix of rustic and upgrades. The view is beautiful and there's a huge wall of windows which allows you to appreciate it inside or out. Comfortable beds and furniture. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Beautiful place

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was beautiful I got some great pictures of the Eagle and we caught lots of fish. Some big bass catfish and more! We took the kayaks out each day and only had one rain day which was still peaceful staying in. The inside was clean and very comfortable would definitely recommend

Ski weekend

Loved this house!

Wonderful house in an exceptional location! The deck and view of the lake was idyllic -- great for relaxing. Very clean, well furnished, well-stocked kitchen, great wifi. Loved the location. Close to town but quiet. Owner was very responsive and helpful. We'll be back!

Great location and wonderful lake house

This home is located only 10 min from Okemo Mtn making getting to the mountain fast and easy. The house is very cozy inside and very well equipped if you plan on cooking your own meals. My friend's and I had a great time there with plenty of room and space for at least 6 people to hangout together in the living room and even at the kitchen table.

Perfect Ski House

Perfect ski house for our family of 3 couples and two young kids. Convenient to Okemo, especially Jackson Gore Base. Nice mix of rustic cabin charm with modern, well equipped kitchen. Lake views are amazing with a bald eagle and merganser ducks to watch. On a sunny, warm afternoon we enjoyed sitting outside on the spacious deck for après-ski. The property specs, pictures and reviews are accurate. We offer our recommendation and will plan to return again.

Memorable Trip

What a week we had! So close to Okemo that you feel spoiled. We all had a blast watching the family of bald eagles while eating breakfast getting ready for our day. We will definitely be coming back! Maybe summer next time?!

Lovely Lakeside Retreat

Our extended family had a long weekend retreat at this lovely lakeside retreat. There was ample space for all of us (4 BRs, 3 baths), and the combination kitchen, dining area, and den, with views allowed us all to be together while some of us cooked. We took advantage of the outdoor fire pit, the deck and the kayaks. Very close to town (Ludlow) and nearby tourist areas of Plymouth Notch (Calvin Coolidge Historic Site) and charming Woodstock. We had a rainy day or two so it was very convenient to have the washer/dryer. The kitchen was well appointed, and there were lots of towels, etc. Our only nitpick would be that it might be time to upgrade the bathrooms to make them as nice as the home and the property, but they were serviceable. We would definitely return.
